Totally clueless in his own zone, game away from the puck very flawed, some floating and pretty weak in puck battling.

Kid has alot of Oliver Wahlstrom, he is a no draft for me.

Hagens is a beauty. People were laughing when I said he was already better than Eiserman. He is much, much better. Great skater, great hands, sets a terrific pace, and can both stickhandle & make plays at top speed. It doesn't slow him down at all. He's 2025s Celebrini.

I love Porter Martone too. He would be pretty sweet to get, although he's another winger.

Yep Hagens skating and quick hands stand out instantly, he is a Noah Ostlund level skater with a better inside game.

Porter Martone is sick.

Next years class looks better than this year's.

He's a better natural scorer than Wahlstrom but I'm with you. Eiserman just isn't the sauce for us and I really don't think the Habs will want him.

They didn't want Michkov and we can all agree Michkov has a more dimensional offensive game. So going even softer and one dimensional isn't their speed.

I'd go so far as to say i think MBN and Iginla would be higher on their list.

Isn't he under contract in Russia for another few years?

He has one more year. There is suspicion that he's being kept in the MHL because he refuses to sign an extension. He's too good for MHL.

He can buy out the last year of his contract, which as a junior probably isn't that much, and could potentially be covered by an NHL signing bonus.

In that case, he would need a place to play next year.

Okay I thought he recently signed it. I see he signed it in 2022. So you're right. One more year.

No doubt, but there is another one who I think might be very very high on their list, but you wont like that...

He would of had to buy out his contract this year, you have to buy it out a year in advance unless you can get them to just agree to let you go but of course with someone as high profile as Demidov that won't happen.

I thought he would buy it out this summer. That's one year?

If his contract was for 2 years, he could buy it out this summer, then would play their next year and then would be free to leave at the end of next season.

Though I don't know the exact dates on when this stuff has to be done, as far as I know you have to do it a year before, so I don't think the summer is enough time.

He has much better puck skills, passing and IQ than Wahlstom. It's closer to comparing Stamkos to Josh Anderson.

Plays don't just die on his stick. He can connect with teammates just fine when he wants to and can be quick and efficient with the puck on the PP.
He takes 10 shots a game because he chooses to take 10 shots a game. Not because it's the only tool in his bag.
And he cheats offensively because it works at this level, as we've seen with tons of NTDP kids over the years.

That's all coachable. Let's not forget how lost Slaf looked defensively in Liiga.

Good Morning All,

Got a good look at Dickinson last night. He comes as advertised, controls the game from the back end. High end defensive awareness. He has decent to good straight line speed. He sees the ice exceptionally well and makes very good passes.

My confidence level for Dickinson in the NHL is 100% a bottom pair. 90% confident he is a 2nd pair. 75% chance at top pair.

Chester gets too lots of Knights games as well, and usually provides a deeper analysis.

Brock Otten's midseason ranking of the OHL eligible prospects was out a few days ago. It's a better crop than last year, so quite a few prospect of potential interest.

Miscouting is fun, lol.

You just posted a video where he has two big hits, he blocks a pass while diving and hes generally implicated. He gets open a lot, but so did Stamkos.

Youre just using confirmation bias and it drives your narrative, its emotional scouting. Basically youre pulling a McCagg.

Porter Martone is a horse. I think hes my favorite prospect since Svechnikov. Just a superior body. I wish we could get him.
