I like it !Keep Skinner, deal Nuge.

Podz isn’t too 6 material imoI liked the look of the top 2 lines for the most part
Arvidsson-McDavid-Hyman
Skinner-Drai-Podz
Hope they give this top 6 combo a few more games.
Offensively yes, but as style fit with those 2 he very much is. He is hard on the defense on the forecheck, turns pucks over, creates space and causes havoc in front of the net.Podz isn’t too 6 material imo
And to Skinner’s credit, he didn’t mope.Learn how to be better defensively
Agree! I wish Podz had a bit more finish to him, but he’s great on the forecheck and makes smart enough plays to get his linemates the puck.Offensively yes, but as style fit with those 2 he very much is. More offense is needed, but he fits as to what the other 2 guys can accomplish with his presence.
I have a tough time blaming Nurse on that one when you see where his center is.That goal at the end of the second period can’t happen. So easily avoidable with a bit harder play in the NZ and even by Kapanen in the OZ. A terrible goal to give up. Not the best night for Nurse imo.
Didn’t Kapanen tip that one in?I have a tough time blaming Nurse on that one when you see where his center is.
He and Ekholm got hung out to dry.

Everyone expects Colorado to overtake Minnesota, who would drop to WC1 and play the winner of the Pacific. If the Avs can't overtake a banged up Wild squad down the stretch, maybe you want to play them?I know winning the division would be nice but you're looking at the Wild or MacKinnon and Makar as the 1st round matchup vs. the Kings or Miller-less Canucks/Flames. Not that they shouldn't be favorites against Minny or Colorado but I know which 1st round opponent I prefer, could be a blessing and a curse to win the division.
Maybe just overtake Winnipeg for top spot, yeah that sounds good.
After seeing this again this morning it’s frightening, absolutely frightening. This win

Plus he's easy to "sub" for if you want a different look or more offensive flair.Agree! I wish Podz had a bit more finish to him, but he’s great on the forecheck and makes smart enough plays to get his linemates the puck.
Nice to see Skinner have a great game.
Nuge needs to wake up. He's been terrible all season and I just looked up his 5v5 stats. Yikes.

Podz has worked better than anyone Drai has as a winger since....... Yamamoto?Podz isn’t too 6 material imo
Often times top lines need a duo who generate the points, and a guy who does the dirty work.Podz has worked better than anyone Drai has as a winger since....... Yamamoto?
As if either of the goals happen without his checking abilities
Skinner-Drai-Podz looks like it could work well in the playoffs. Getting a guy like Konecny for McDavid would be the best of both worlds and you also got Hyman doing the dirty works as wellOften times top lines need a duo who generate the points, and a guy who does the dirty work.
97 was on his way to the canteen lolI have a tough time blaming Nurse on that one when you see where his center is.
He and Ekholm got hung out to dry.

Was about draiwhat did she say about mcd?
I thought he looked pretty good? Couple shaky moments. But he is pretty smooth skating to my eyeswhat's the consensus on klingberg tonight? didn't get to watch large portions of the game
I think the stat was they have not won this year when trailing going into the 3rd. Ouch.Chicago celebrated like they tied a playoff game with their 3rd goal

Klingberg bringing some puck movement to the bottom pair will make our offensive players that much more effective. No ablity to play in his own zone, or at least Knob didn't trust him in his own zone
