2024-25 EPL Season

No one wanted to buy him. No one even made an offer. Also, he's scored three goals this season (2 in the Carabao Cup) and seems to have found his confidence somewhat.
There’s always a sucker. Had he been shown the door (ETH has no issues with pushing players away. See Ronaldo) 1 goal heading into October is horseshit. Adding goals against a third tier side is a f***ing joke.

If only the finishing was on that level...
I've watched a fair chunk of Man U in the league this season and have yet to see them look good. The grim statistic of 5 goals in 5 matches feels more reflective of their play.

This early in the season, there's a lot of noise in the 'expected' stats - per-90 measures are going to have some pretty wild standard deviations when teams have only played 5 90's. I think most people would agree that Chelsea are fair value for where they are in the table right now, but our xG and xGA is wonky because we were super clinical against Wolves (how often is a 6-2 an 'expected' draw???) and Sanchez saved a penalty. Until matchweek 10, I take nothing from a per-90 stat.

Fernandes's suspension overturned on appeal.
Why should someone doing their job be allowed to be called a f(^!$)^ c^@#?

If you did that at work, you'd get fired.
Eh, very few jobs get the blood flowing, adrenaline moving, and hormones pumping like pro sports. It would never cross my mind to call someone a f***ing c*** at work, but your headspace doing sports is very different and it definitely has crossed my mind.

I think referee abuse is an issue, and Stephens shouldn't have done that, but I struggle to care that much about it. People say angry things in high intensity situations.

I actually don't care either, I just got to thinking how shitty it would have to be told "you have to take that" at work.

I'm not familiar with how things are behind the scenes, but to me it seems like United are really lacking team spirit. A lot of the players just strike me as mercenaries.

Ait Nouri must leave Wolves ASAP

Craig Dawson looking for a moniker "relegation specialist" after this season, having already been relegated with WBA and Watford before.

Would like to see Wolves to stay up, I've had soft spot for them ever since legend Steve Bull was a scoring machine for them.

Manchester United leadership are apparently meeting within 48H after the Aston Villa match and no one's coming out and backing him. I think he's going to get sacked no matter what.
