I believe he is highly regarded in NBA circles, I think he's an analytics guy. He worked for Daryl Morey in Houston and then Sam Hinkie with the 76ers before going to Minn.

You would think someone so highly regarded would have won a championship after 19 years in the NBA

When I read these things my blood rushes to my brain, he gets 12M a year and complains that they play too much? Had he at least thought about the players in the minor leagues who also travel in conditions that are certainly not the same as theirs...
If you're company said they'd pay you 1mil a year but you had to work 100 hours a week would you?

Have NHL players complained that they play too many games?
Well they aren't playing more games next year than they were 2/3/4 years ago?

Did they complain or not? Was the lockout due to too many games or due to economic issues?

Then I ask you, exactly who would go on strike?

The NHL lockout isn’t remotely comparable to this but okay.

Sounds like people that are being overworked are going on strike. Which makes sense?

Yes, in fact I didn't mention the NHL players but since they had been mentioned I used that comparison.

It makes sense, but I doubt that if it isn't a global thing that includes all players it will have any practical effect.

Former Arsenal and Ipswich prodigy Jay Emmanuel-Thomas in legal trouble after getting caught with 60 kilos of cannabis in the airport. So stupid people are still going to jail for that.

🤔 60 kilos is kind of a lot...

Of course Haaland doesnt get in trouble for throwing the ball at someone after they scored the equalizer. Genuinely not surprised.
It’s something you absolutely should get a yellow for. But it’s also hilarious.

Another example of Oliver handling something poorly. Missed that entirely and then let and entire scuffle break out after the restart because Gabriel sort of stepped in front of Haaland (totally normal for a defender to do) and instead of going around Haaland completely trucked him.

Is there even a set of fans who are not scared shitless when either Michael Oliver or Anthony Taylor are announced as the ref for their match? United fans these days are worried with just about every ref based on experiences of recent years, but especially with those two.

Maybe they should be more worried about the team they’re facing?

The refs suck for just about everyone. The day your team gets screwed is totally random and the calls and explanations are random. Often in the same game your team gets shafted but later on get an outrageous call go for them. It’s a crapshoot.

This is hilarious coming from a Man United fan, who are princess of the league and most refs growing up were Red Devil fans....
