Honestly feels safe to say City are no longer favorites, even with their depth. Arsenal doing everyone else a solid there.
Rodri is also so important to their play style because he cleans up so much. That said, them managing to steal a point is pretty big. I think they're still the favorites but only because Odegaard is out for a long while, too.

What are they doing?

You do not respect our values and our flags*, from today we go back to the old ways.
*: I don't know how to translate it, but they mean the people who made the history of the team. Totti...De Rossi...Conti...etc etc...

He might have a case with too many games lol.

Shows you haven't been watching United's games lately.
United is my second most-watched club because of how hilarious their results are. They are the league's darlings and always get their way in terms of fouls and free kicks favoured. Of course, all VAR calls will go against any team because of the sheer incompetence of VAR being involved. Haaland should have been red carded last night with VAR being the reason, but he gets away scott free.

It’s something you absolutely should get a yellow for. But it’s also hilarious.

Another example of Oliver handling something poorly. Missed that entirely and then let and entire scuffle break out after the restart because Gabriel sort of stepped in front of Haaland (totally normal for a defender to do) and instead of going around Haaland completely trucked him.

Pretty sure it was Partey he trucked. Serves him right really.

I saw a clip of Ferguson United vs Wenger Arsenal back in the days and United got away with murder that game without consequence (they should have got 3 red cards) from the referee and a generous PK. It was obvious corruption or a fixed result.

hypothetical food for thought. Ollie Watkins converts one of the chances v Arsenal and that would have probably been enough for Villa to be 1st on 15 points now and Arsenal on 8.

Maybe they should be more worried about the team they’re facing?

The refs suck for just about everyone. The day your team gets screwed is totally random and the calls and explanations are random. Often in the same game your team gets shafted but later on get an outrageous call go for them. It’s a crapshoot.
TBH I’d be thrilled to have a ref biased against us because then at least I could console myself with the fact that the only reason we didn’t get a result was the ref instead of the fact that we’re total trash.

As an Arsenal fan, quite pleased to get 11 points out of these first 5 games. Even without considering some harsh calls going against them.

Then and there
Wolves defender Mosquera out for the season (ACL).

Big loss for Colombia too, as he will miss at least 5 qualification matchdays. At least they have started well, so they can afford couple of losses in the future matches and still qualify.
