Who are these mythical people that the Loonie Dogs commercial believe eat their hot dogs with a knife and fork?

I'm normally a big "you do you" person if you're not hurting anyone else, but I'm sorry if you use utensils to eat a hot dog you are a terrible person.

Unless you are at home and not using a bun.

The same rule applies to sausages. If there is a bun available, you do not use a fork and knife.

Then again, I know someone who uses a fork and knife for pizza.

Exactly. The point is that if you have a complete hot dog with a bun you're a weirdo if you use utensils for anything other than condiment application.

The pizza thing is weird, but slightly less so than hot dogs.

Small sample size, natch, but over teh last 2 weeks Biggio is hitting .368/.455/1.191 (I've been told this slash line choice isn't always clear so it's avg/obp/ops) with a sub 30% k rate and nearly 10% walk rate.

He's gonna cool off but this could be a positive sign that his slightly increased aggression is paying dividends.

Good win, *just enough runs* to not blow it in the 9th. Good to see a couple homers, but Vladdy once again snake bit. It's coming close to a month since he's hit a homer off an actual pitcher (he hit one against the position player in the 20-1 tampa blowout).

Great start by Gausman finally gets a decision at the Dome.

Springer with a couple more hits today... he's quietly been really, really good for a while now. In his last 25 games, he has a wRC+ over 150 with a .394 OBP and as many walks as strikeouts. I can be patient waiting for the power to come back if he can just keep getting on base from the leadoff spot.

No secret that Verlander has struggled a bit this year, and so did Bassit in his last couple starts, so it'll be interesting which one comes out on top tonight.

Should be a good game I hope, both teams need to snap out of it as the expectations for both were high this year, especially the Mets with their payroll.
