Cody Bellinger was worse. MVP level player to straight up unplayable until he un****ed things in Chicago (at least for the moment)has there been a massive career implosion in recent memory that's worse than Christian Yelich? He came into the league, was good to great, had 2 MVP caliber years and then immediately fell off the cliff to be barely a replacement/bench/mediocre starter level player.
Yeah that's a bad case for a challenge. its so close that you're never gonna get an overturn.Seriously, whoever's in charge of greenlighting the Jays' challenges needs to be replaced. What are they even doing here?
Doesnt matter if they aren't gonna score more than 1 run.Man Jays just can’t everyone working right at the same time. Mayza is usually pretty reliable. Sigh
Yeah, all the other teams that have hit off Williams this year. Should have been easy. The problem is not being able to hit Julio Teheran, that’s sadGot a leadoff double in the 9th, and can't do f**k all with it. No long ball in this team to tie things up with one swing.
Well that too. but the absence of the home run is seriously degraded this team's offense. they are getting hits, they are getting on base, but just lack the guaranteed scoring ability of the home run. they ground into dp's, make base running mistakes, all of those things that the home run "fixes".Yeah, all the other teams that have hit off Williams this year. Might have to send him down to figure it out. Obviously wearing on him mentally.
It’s going to be against the Astros though.I'd probably give him one more start
What's their win percentage on them? Must be single digits. They keep challenging stuff you don't even need a replay for it was so obvious. It's insaneSeriously, whoever's in charge of greenlighting the Jays' challenges needs to be replaced. What are they even doing here?

Halladay was sent down to Single A, and they basically rebuilt him from the ground up as a pitcher.Worked for Halladay
No idea. Situation is similar, no?Halladay was sent down to Single A, and they basically rebuilt him from the ground up as a pitcher.
They aren't sending Manoah down to Single A.
was just about to say this...as a guy who watches Dodgers has to be bellinger.Cody Bellinger was worse. MVP level player to straight up unplayable until he un****ed things in Chicago (at least for the moment)
I still say Yelich's prime was ended by that knee injury. His bat slowed down significantly in the years after it.
