Sörensen does not only suck. He also doesn’t seem to have a shread of humility. He’s simply the worst.

Can’t believe I thought Hallam would be good. This is Mårts level player selections. Zetterlund played Well and payed for his own insurance.

Meh, Everberg+Sörensen are fourth liners. Previously players of their ilk would somehow get top-9 roles.

Sörensen was supposedly the best player during one of the tournaments mid-season which is most likely why he got in, didn't watch it myself as the roster was just plain boring... Personally everytime I watch him I only see somebody who tries to play at a higher level than he's able to so it just ends with turnovers.

Yeah, Everberg and Sörensen over Zetterlund is baffling. I more upset about Everberg, But neither of them belong.

At least no Joel Persson. W. Nylander I am fairly certain he will come and play with his brother. For the last forward slot, I'd like a center unless by some miracle Bratt would go without contract. Of the centers remaining I'd rank them W. Karlsson > Wennberg > Järnkrok > Boqvist. But I also understand that if you wait for too long to, for instance, invite Järnkrok, he might make other plans. I think both Vegas - Edmonton and Dallas - Seattle will go to 7 games so probably Järnkrok/Boqvist will be in limbo until then. I am also uncertain if Hallam would consider Boqvist. But Boqvist is an upgrade at center over de la Rose and P. Lindholm at least

Wouldn’t blame Nylander for a second if he declines (if toronto gets eliminated, which they most likely will) can’t think of a more loyal tre kronor player TBH. Well, maybe his dad or OEL.

You could go with W.Nylander at C though.
Nylander - Nylander - Berggren
Raymond - Carlsson - Grundström/Zetterlund

Sounds like the plan is for Lasse, & Wallstedt to play all games.

I'm pretty sure you can bring in a reserve (to a limit) if a player is taken out of comission so idk if it's open in case Jacob suddenly can't play.
 
One thing I Will say about Hallam though would Mårts or Grönborg even think to put an untested 18-year old who has played wing all season as a first line center in the world championships? Even if it is Leo Carlsson, that’s gutsy. Honestly I don’t even think he would’ve made the EHT.

When WC is what it is, i rather see us testing and showing of some good young talent and risk going out in the quarterfinals, than to have those EHT 33 year-olds to defense their way to a bronze medal.

I also realized he has an expiring contract. But sure, after they've talked to Bratt, Nylander, Järnkrok, Wennberg and W. Karlsson/Janmark and only gotten one yes, then they can ask Boqvist.

Skill first line - I like it
Hard working second line - meh, it's ok I guess. Don't expect much offence here
Skill third line? - I guess the thinking is that Berggren will dish it to Petersson as a finisher. This needs skill upgrade... Berggren - Wennberg - W. Nylander :naughty:
Grinding fourth line - all players I don't like on the team on one line :eek3:
