Fractured foot is kind of a good enough excuse... Of course he would have played for his club. A lot of the stars play injured in the SC.

But its a long way from that to get a "OK" from the team to play WC after the season if you have an injury.

Yeah they got to get a clear from the team doc. Maby they can go anyway if its a small thing, Dont know what the punishment would be.

Most angry with EP. He should just go be happy he got the remainder of his contract insured, u cant insure contracts that aint made. He should have said FU VC and gone anyway.
 
I mean.. why not bring Loui Eriksson? He’s basically just a brain on skates. It’d be like having an extra coach on the ice.

You can have him as an extra forward, the experience he brings is so hard to come by.
 
There is a new interview in Aftonbladet with Marcus Högberg explaining his absence. He was told by Hallam that he was ranked #3 of the goalies and probably wouldn't get to play that much. Högberg then declined the roster spot since he'd rather spend time with his family. He has a 5 week old daugther
 
Devils down 3-1.....Bratt had whole year to fix the contract but no.

Jesper Boqvist is a interesting player. He dont have contract, but he might use WC to land himself a better contract.

Then there is Holtz...he has chemisty with Raymond

he is smart, but just too slow for international hockey.

silfverberg 8 points. dont make me laugh. he did not even produce such points in WC when he was younger and better. Its Berggren and A.Nylander that will have those kind of points.

Hehe, it may be that my information and recollections of some of the players need a bit of a refreshing - Luckily that's available from Friday onwards ;)

I still have a small hope that Folin will play better. And the reason is Nicklas Rahm, who is a very good D coach.

The bright spot overall for Sweden this year is the coaching.
 
Järrnkrok is playing on first line with Matthews and Marner as a LW. But can play center too. Not sure if he is better as center or winger. He is not a pure skill player but more in the mold of Lindberg and Pär Lindholm, but better. I will be pissed off if Järnkrok and Liljegren dont get invite.
 
William Karlssons wife is pregnant very unlikely to show up if vegas gets knocked out.

Järnkrok seems to have made a permanent transition to wing in the NHL. But on this Sweden team, he would be best used as a center. I'd like him between both Nylanders, he can take the defensive responsibilty while they work their magic offensively

Well the circumstances in toronto are weird aswell ROR is their third line center.

Yes, I am thinking Grundström takes Everbergs spot.

Hallam says they will register 12F 6D.

I am guessing Linus Johansson, Everberg, Folin will sit out. Then one D, I am guessing one of Pudas and Persson (Hopefully Persson

Det pairings were
Tömmernes - Sandin
Bengtsson - Nemeth
Persson - Lindholm
Folin

The first two pairings are serviceable, but I don't want to see Persson. Hopefully we can get two of Larsson, Ekholm and Liljegren and push that third pairing out. I am rooting for Dallas hard. Both because I really want Wennberg and Larsson and because I don't want Finland to get Heiskanen and Hintz!

Truly the best way to go about it if you want more NHLrs to accept invites. Pay for your own insurance and play well, f*** you, Suck and be a dick to everyone (Sörensen), PLZ join now here you go have some top 6 minutes!
