Yes, at least he realizes that the biggest weakness in this team is skillfull Cs. Leo is the only one we got. Lindberg has some limited upside at this level, but Lindholm and de la Rose are black holes.

In my opinion Nylander has a higher upside with skilled players, meanwhile Berggren has the ability to drive a line and generate chances pretty much on his own.

I would like the Grundström - Lindberg - Berggren line. There is strength, thought and a shot, the third line in the composition of Petersson - Lindholm - Silfverberg would not harm their own game so much. Hopefully Hallam will quickly understand that having Lindholm with a person who has a hockey IQ is a stupid idea because Lindholm is an anchor for that player.
This team sorely needs a top line center. I think Wennberg is our best hope, considering W. Karlsson just had a baby. Then Lindholm can slot down to 4C and de la Rose to the popcorn queue
Worst world championships team ever for Sweden probably. This was about the worst game I have ever seen. Its unacceptable to get outplayed like this for 30 minutes against Germany. You really can not afford to not have a single accepted invite from any of the players that would have made a best on best team.

Not enough time for him to play in this tournament. Gonna need at least a few months to learn how to walk, a few years to start skating, and then ~10-15 years of development on the ice.

both sörensen and everberg was horrible, as expected. zetterlund would bring a whole new dimension, he is alot like Grundström.

De la Rose is the worst player on this team, he brings nothing. Why he is choosen over Linus Johansson is a mystery.

btw Swiss got Fiala and Hischier.... swiss stars players come but not swedish...our NHL stars have zero national pride..

Yes, both Garpen and Hallam seems to like him. I don't see it. He even got an A on the team. I think Johansson was better in the warm up games. At least he bring some energy. de la Rose is constantly a step behind, which is why he has to draw penalties

Sörensen was disasterous at the humiliating Riga tournament, then he went on to ensure Djurgårdens demotion to Allsvenskan. Why is he given more chances?
The truth is that with only Euro guys, there is not much difference between us and Germany and the Swiss. The NHLers we got are middeling and don't raise the skill level enough. Seider is better than anyone on the Swedish team and you could make an argument for Peterka.
Peterka, Kahun and even Sturm would have been key players on this Swedish team, for sure. Noebles, Tiffels, Wissmann, Moritz Müller, Gawanke (although he didn't play in this game) probably wouldn't have looked out of place either. Niederberger isn't as good as Wallstedt, but in a vacuum he'd be a servicable backup.
So yeah, there's not much differance. Just like we saw Germany and Slovakia earn medals in the last two Olympics, it wouldn't surprise me to see one of them or even Denmark or Latvia get a bronze this year, unless the bigger nations get some late reinforcements from the NHL.

Germany would finish last in EHT if they were in. Even Swiss are struggling there except this last tournament (2 wins) and thats only euro players.
