They only cut Häman Aktell, Rasmussen, Brännström, and I guess you could say Högberg(but he left by himself).

They won't register all of them in hopes of playoffs additions, which hopefully means no Everberg, Sörensen, Folin, & Persson.

I’m gonna go ahead and assume this means no from Hampus Lindholm, Jonas Brodin and Viktor Arvidsson aswell.

Not really surprising, there was one extra D and F in Czech Hockey Games plus we knew Grundström was coming. So 1D and 2F cut was the expected unless there was a surprise addition. Neither Häman Aktell or Persson are WC level Ds IMO. Of the two I'd rather kept Aktell though, since he is young and there is a small chance he takes a development step when challenged. Persson is what he is and is overwhelmed by international tempo.

Not a fan of Rasmussen so don't mind him being cut, but I like him more than Everberg plus he can play center if necessary.

From Aftonbladets reporting it seems like they are still waiting for Hampus Lindholm. He'd be a huge boost. I think we can safely assume Brodin is not coming.

Register 11F and 6D (5 if ther is still hope for Lindholm) for opening game. Keep slots open for Larsson and Ekholm on D, two if Nylander, Wennberg, W. Karlsson or Järnkrok on F.

Aftonbladet updated there Kempe article to state that Arvidsson had declined as well.

Good that Rasmussen was cut. He is just horrible.

But i dont get why Everberg and Folin made it over Brännnström and Häman Aktell. Weird choices by Hallam.

Still no word on Jonas Brodin. There is also Edler, but he dont have contract. Lias Andersson and Fagemo would probaly be good enough for this team.

Your point makes no sense. Pudas, Sandin, Persson, Tömmernäs, Bengtsson are all good puck movers. Much much better at it than Folin. And Nemeth and A.Lindholm also better than Folin with the puck. Where do you get the idea that Folin is the best with the puck on this team together with Sandin? Folin should not even play, he better stay on the bench.

No but seriously Sandin and Tömmernes are the only ones I would trust with puck movement at this level.

I've watched enough of Frolunda to know that. My comment was tongue in cheek about the team not having any truly good puck movers. Sandin is an OK puck mover for the SHL. So is Persson. But still not very high end. Also Patrick Nemeth being better with the puck than ANYBODY I have serious trouble believing.

There are several NHL quality players at forward and in goal but on defense they are seriously lacking.

sandin produced lots of points with the capitals. tömmernäs is the best d in NLA. Pudas is the best d in SHL. so is lukas bengtsson. we are fine

nemeth is a NHLer, Folin never took a NHL spot.
