FWIW, if Bayern can get more for Leon than for Gravenberch, I'd sell LeGo and keep the young dutchman to groom behind Kimmich.

Kolo Muani is refusing to train to force his move to PSG. He is reportedly waiting in Paris for the clubs to come to an agreement.

Bayern are said to be intensifying their pursuit of Fulham's Pahlinha. Dunno how good he is, so hopefully he's another over-hyped EPL flop if it happens.

Heintz is returning from Union to Köln. Would be cool if he & Baumgart could sell Martel on Köpenik, because I want that kid to replace Khedira as our future captain so badly. He's such an annoyingly clever defender and covers a lot of ground in front of the defense; while being very sound technically and intelligent with the ball.

Can’t believe Liverpool made four first team midfielder additions. Guess Bajcetic Elliott and Jones do not matter.
Bajcetic is 18 years old and coming from a long term injury and his "competitor" is 30 years old and most likely won't play that often. I think Bajcetic could take over the starting role by the end of next year. Way better for him to have Endo instead of Lavia.

Elliott is 20 years old will have significant time as dual replacement for midfield and forward. He has already played very often for Klopp as a teenager. He might not get a starting role but he has often taken over Salah position who is 31 years old and will most likely play his last season for LFC. If he does well he could even have a starting role.

As for Jones, he is 22 years old, he HAS to step up his game if he wants to stay at LFC. He is a backup and should remain a backup but he is required for injuries and because of the NHG quota.

Kolo Muani isn't too far off the Caicedo situation, he's got like 4 years left on his contract and there's no real incentive for them to let him go for less than their asking price, especially to a club like PSG. I don't see Krösche caving on this.

Agree re: Goretzka/Gravenberch.

I thought it was obvious that I was being purposely disingenuous to score points and feed my ego

In reality, it is obvious that Liverpool need more signings.

Yeah. I mean it's pretty much the same. You go in, say your head isn't in it, and Klopp won't play you.

Well your post said something different than that, which was "If he comes in and says he is out, I'm not playing," That is not the same as "I would like to leave."

Finding it hard to comprehend why City is selling Palmer to Chelsea. Feels like was on the cusp of stepping into the team and taking on a larger role.

In much the same way Chelsea probably should have cut the cord at the first half billion maybe.

Writing was probably on the wall once they got Nunes. Jury’s still out on his ceiling - this is very much paying for potential.

One of those rare moves that make no sense for all 3 parties.

City don’t need the $ plus he’s a home grown player who has show he can help. Palmer is getting good minutes under the best coach. In a good environment, unlike chaos agents chelsea. Chelsea get yet another player lighting more money on fire they really done need.

Minutes for development are going to be hard to come by at Chelsea as well. Some of these young players are going to have their development stunted.

Considering Jones is hurt most of the time, I think they do
Such a shame that he is. But even so I think they have a lot of guys for that role.

But City fans were saying he was the new Mahrez
Supposedly, Palmer requested a transfer after the Doku signing

you named three players that all play different positions. Two of which are injured and/or recovering from injury

I don’t know if it’s the right player but we have needed another RWer all of this window.

To be fair LFC are in more dire need of defender not much about midfield although both would be ideal.

I understand what you’re saying. There’s a lot of wiggle room in all of it. My head isn’t in it basically says he isn’t playing and wants to go. Either way it’s splitting hairs.

Bayern only wants 30m for Gravenberch and that's a lot less than I thought.
For that it’s really worth a punt

We need to stop signing guys because they are a bargain and start signing guys that fit what the team needs. Yes it’s nice when both happen but feels like LFC is Still living in the past
