Transfer: 2023 Summer Transfer Window - Open Window Edition

He's talented but he's just so wildly inconsistent. One game he looks incredible, the next like he shouldn't be in PL.

He's a massive diva but if he's motivated, he's a force. What he did just defensively for Morocco at the last WC was mind-blowing. His Chelsea tenure was mixed at best and there's enough dysfunction with both club and player that the failure probably lays with both.

When he's on though, he's so pleasing style-wise. Very cool to watch.

What player isn’t a diva to you?

50M for him is pants on head crazy.

Fulham was the only team to actually say no to the Saudi's after their player was tapped up. They eventually forced our hand by Mitro refusing to play. The IG message(and hilarious pic) FFC put out is worth a look.

We will however spend all of it, so were hoping for J David/Balogun(worst case)

Looking to have some opinioni on Alzate from Brighton. Position and what kind of player he is. Thanks in advance...

Was really good at Standard Liege last season, basically ran their midfield. Mostly played as a pure CM, so the 8 position. Was loved by the fans because of his never-back-down mentality while at the same time being their most creative player showing really good technical ability. Would have loved it if Club Brugge made a move for him but maybe Brighton didn't want to let him go. Love his versatility.

Tnx Savi

Been checking some clips of him, but I am curious to know your scouting report?

Ajax also bought Avila, another defender for roughly 13M. Any insights about him @Savi ?

13m???? Wtf, thats insane. Some serious Overmars magic there. First, that's like 4 times what he's worth and second he doesnt fit Ajax at all.

Overmars wanted him for Ajax before his move to Belgium. Ajax is a good place for him to develop they’ll likely get a good profit out of him.

When has this not been the Chelsea way? Sometimes they just fall upwards

Either way I guess they don’t need those “serious sales” in advance

They're pretty clearly not failing upward though now they're failing hard downward. They don't understand that they don't need to buy more players. You can't just keep adding players when you have 30 players who don't know how to play with each other. Now you have to put in work on the training ground. The answer now is 'stop buying more f***ing players because I haven't even had time to tell these players how I want them to play together.' A manager should risk their job and put their foot down or tell the club he'll walk if they don't stop. And almost all of the players they bring in have no experience so they're just asking for trouble.

That’s the thing about falling upwards though. You can spend millions on lotto tickets; but you only need one to hit. We’ve seen this all with Chelsea before
