In other news:

ABK is the next defender to be linked to Frankfurt as they prepare for this summer's departures

Newcastle, Arsenal, Milan, and Bayern are reportedly interested in Leverkusen's Amine Adli.

Kicker is reporting that Berisha is looking to make the next step in his career and leave FCA this summer.

Volland is said to be open to a BuLi return. He's content in Monaco and enjoyed his first two seasons, but this past season was more disappointing for him and his family reportedly misses germany.

If Yusuf Kabadayi doesn't get into Bayern's last 3 matches, he'll be available for 400K and is reportedly looking to leave for PT. Not sure he'll ever be Bayern caliber...but he's firmly in that second tier of Bayern's youth ranks; behind the likes of Wanner, Tel, Ibrahimovic, & Buchmann; right there with Zvonarek, Copado, Aseko Nkili, Aydin, etc.

FTFY...

...at least I really was abnormally high on Mo & Brandt

It's when you guys try to shit-talk me for kids that I was actually more critical of than the consensus when they were coming up...like Draxler, Wirtz, and Havertz...that it can get annoying lol
Wasn't there another BVB fan who said he was the second coming?

No, it doesn’t make up for It. Stupid business.
180M is a little more than what I thought the trio would get collectively. I dont want to push Torres out, he's actally the least I want gone of the forwards. But 45 isnt terrible.... underwhelming especially since I still think theres a player in there.

Rumors that we’re moving on Neves. One was from Sport, so I don’t take it as given. Word was that Laporta will push it through even though Xavi wants other midfielders. That also makes me less inclined to buy it. The good new is that players could enter into the operation like Dest and Abde If it’s true.

Exactly, so quote a higher price or tell them where to go. Villa aren’t paupers.

Dahoud? Nah, PB gave him credit for turning his career around the past few years and was convinced he had improved defensively enough to play the 6 for them.

But he never hyped him as a more skilled-Gundogan the way I did when he was first breaking through for BMG and going toe-to-toe with the best midfields in the CL.
Klopp wanted both!

I can't really blame him. Keita's health went about as badly as it could've for you and we'll never know if Klopp would've been able to keep Mo's ego from getting so inflated that he grew complacent after his big move.

Looking back on it, I'm skeptical, but he was still very young & I can't say for certain that between Klopp, the greater competition for PT, and LFC having so much more money than BVB to replace Mo if he slacked off; that wouldn't have kept the fire under his ass that Favre and BMG had managed to light.

Unlike Draxler, whose ability to thrive in tight spaces was always a concern to me, I still think Mo could've been a bigger star than Gundogan has been. The kid was even more skilled, quick, creative, and brazen than a young Ilkay had been.

Hasn't been playing enough lately to get an idea. Behind Can and Ozcan for Dortmund.

It's more Brandt & Bellingham being such driving forces for them this season that Reus & Dahoud get so little burn. The Jude-Dahoud double-pivot lacking defensive security is a big part of why their CBs got so exposed the past few seasons.

So going away from that pairing & playing a proper 6 was important for them to become a much more solid team. Süle & Schlotterbeck have been a big talent upgrade at CB despite Akanji leaving, but they also get much better cover from Can / Ozcan.

Frankfurt has made a loan offer for Ekitike and a 20M offer for Bitshiabu.

And Spurs have inquired about Alban Lafont.
He's had a rough season this year (especially the second half) but was amazing last year.

Arsenal are interested in Simakan.

I've also seen ManU linked to him. I think he should stay at least another year. He could reach a higher level than Konate at CB and he's more dynamic as a RB than Pavard, but he still needs more polish.

Bitshiabu is reportedly also a target for Dortmund...who have had to call Hummels back from the retirement home to fill in when Süle or Schlotterbeck have been banged up.

They have some highly rated kids in their academy and both Bensebaini & Rothe can play LCB in a back 3, but they need a better 3rd full-time CB for next season...might be their biggest need after a RB/RWB & Jude replacement.

Speaking of replacing Bellingham, Gabri Veiga & Enzo Le Fee have been linked to BVB a lot by german sources...more dupious rumors linking them to Edson Alvarez / Granit Xhaka as well, but Veiga & Le Fee seem like their main targets to replace Jude's impulses from the midfield.

Veiga would cost something something like 40-50 million (I forget). Would they spend that much?

Why not? They're rich and they'll get beaucoup bucks for Bellingham :dunno:

They spent 30M on Adeyemi and Haller last summer, so I don't see 40M for Veiga being out of their budget.

Not by much, and they're going to get almost double for Jude what they got for Erling. So there will be extra money in the budget.

I’m aware of what they’ll get for Bellingham and I’m not questioning their means. Just more than they tend to spend on a player.
