Unless those deals are only based on a games played percentage if not and you let him take games off because the 3 hour private charter is too much for him then you played yourself. The MLS needs to get rid of the salary cap, TAM, GAM and such if you are going to pay 1 player stupid money. Let teams pay players more and you can get better quality in the league, that will improve the game and make it better to watch. Messi isn't improving the quality of the league, he'll get a few more eyes in but that's it.
