- 8 roster spots to fill (avg of a little over ~600k per spot)
- Min Salary for 1-way contract is 750K.
- Cap doesn't include Swaymans salary (estimated to be ~3.5 mill)
- Would bring cap to 1.4 mill with 7 spots (avg ~200k per spot)
- Nothing includes DK or PB if they return.


Professor Sweeny has alot to do, He has to make some moves just to free up some $$.

Getting rid of Reilly without giving assets I shall call Donny Copperfield sweeney .

Damn we did Hall dirty. He plays 3rd line, shuts his mouth and is excellent in the playoffs. to possibly be stuck in a rebuild. I hope Chicago moves him for assets to a contender cause he deserves it.

Now we see if Boston inks Bertuzzi to a long term deal. As I've said in other post the only reason to trade Hall would be to sign Bert to a long term deal.

Hall was a luxury we couldn't afford. We didn't even utilize him the way he should have. He spent 15 minutes a night on the 3rd line and even less in the playoffs when he was one of our better players.

I think his fit in Chicago is perfect for him where he can ride shotgun to Bedard and actually be used in a top six role

Hate it. And if this is to sign Bertuzzi to a long-term deal, I hate it even more. I get why people love him after the playoffs he just had, but the guys is always hurt and isn't exactly fleet of foot. I don't think he's the type of player you extend into his mid-30's. It's going to age poorly
