Racking points on a bad team…? If he's on a better team, his stats will be way better.
It means his talent is overrated as he cannot make his team better, look I am just warning everyone about Cristall and apparently I see a lot of people falling for the trap. If the guy is drafted top 10 get ready to potentially draft a bust that's all what I am saying. As a mid to late first it is fine to take that risk.

To me, not only he does not fit well with our need and our team. I would puke if we draft him with our 1st pick.

Guess we should't take Bedard at 1 then. Can't even lead Regina to a .500 record.

Yes. Let's compare one of the best dynamic player in the draft with a smaller and way slower version.

And btw now that you mention it, it is a concern that a supposed generational talent cannot lift his team higher.

Crosby certainly did it.

Oliver Moore and Ryan Leonard are both top 8 worthy to me. Their tools, skillz, speed, hands, hard working are impressive. They are great consolation prize for Habs if they don't draft top 6 pick.

My top 8 right now is a lock for me:

1-Bedard.
2-Fantilli.
3-Carlsson.
4-Michkov.
5-Smith.
6-Benson.
7-Moore.
8-Leonard.

That's my top 8 for Habs... and for the draft.

I think you miss Will Smith, this guy have close to have playmaking ability of Jack Hughes. He is unreal.
No hes not close to Hughes, thats ridiculous. Hes a good playmaker but Perrault is better and more creative. Smith is similar to Suzuki as a playmaker.
Perreault and not Smith?

Yes, I meant post Bedard, of course.
Top 5?

1 Bedard
2 Smith
3 Benson
4 Cristall
5 Carlsson/Michkov
Perrault and Smith play together a lot and Gabe is the lead playmaker and flashes creativity that no one in this draft can come close to. Not even Bedard, Carlsson and Cristall.

You’re still have high hopes on Tuch?

Not high hopes, but he can easily play a support role in a top 9.

He'll move up in newer rankings. He got off to a slow start, but has grown his game throughout the year, which is what scouts want to see.

He's stepped his game up big time since WJCs.

He's about the same size as Seth Jarvis, and like him, he'll go top 15.

There's like 26 top 15 players, I don't think Brindley is gonna be one.

Who is the best playmaker in the draft? Heidt, Benson, Cristall, Smith or Carlsson?

Smith and Carlsson would be the top end of that.

I think Reinbacher is gonna be like seider and is going to go like 10 spots higher than where he is ranked.

As soon as Benson and Smith are off the board (after the big 4 obviously); I'm gonna consider him for the Habs. It would depend on where the Florida pick is.

'Cause if you're like well I can take Yager, Dvorsky here or I can take Reinbacher and get Cristall/Wood later? I'll probably take Reinbacher. He just looks like the perfect fit for Hutson.

Wood is becoming my number one target for the Florida pick. Sure skating is bad but he is so smart in his positionning and shot selection. Does he ever score goals were you say, he wouldn't have scored if the players around him were faster? I'd say very rarely, he generates offense against traffic, not by beating traffic. I think thats a pretty good way to evaluate a player that has skating issues.

He's that guy who we've all played with who looks like the tenth best player on the team, but somehow always finishes top scorer of the team.

I like his chances to become a Robertson/Stone type. And I think there is a solid chance he at least becomes a Toffoli/Ryder.

I'm similar I think I have Smith ahead but it's close. But I'd take Reinbacher over Benson

IQ. It goes a long, long way. I like him too and would be insanely angry if they decided to pick Brindley ahead.

What part of Brindleys game warrants being drafted 6th?

SIXTH.

That means you have him ahead of Reinbacher, Smith, Leonard, Benson, Heidt, Wood, etc.

Is he a good talented player that Id like to have in the prospect pool? Yes.

6th? God no.
I have Reinbacher at 5.

Yeah that makes sense. I was thinking to myself that if we get one of the top 4, we should definitely pick Reinbacher. But my position is that Wood and Cristall present huge value that will be available for the Florida (or 3rd) pick, which leads me to lean towards Reinbacher as well with our pick if it's 5-7 ish.
Since its almost a guarantee that the Habs wont pick Mitchkov at 4, if we select there, it would be kind of a reach to pick Reinbacher at 4 no!?

Me too, but it then means you think Brindleys better than Heidt, Wood, Leonard, Benson and others and I cant buy that.

If its a guarantee there needs to be a protest or something and Hugo need to gtfo.

You didn't really watch Rockets games, right? Bedard can't make the playoffs with his team, can he "make his team better"? I don't want to argue where Cristall should be picked, yeah, "some" rankings overrated him, but hating a player for some rankings overrated him is nonsense.
