Demidov is a HAB
I don't want to think about passing on Michkov, it upsets me.
They'd trade down, at least, and I know how much you love that.

Even if Tuch doesn't pan out, there are such things as trades, you know. Get the talent and then tweak your teamYou’re still have high hopes on Tuch?
It’s also almost a guarantee we won’t be drafting 4th OA, so why worry about it?Since its almost a guarantee that the Habs wont pick Mitchkov at 4, if we select there, it would be kind of a reach to pick Reinbacher at 4 no!?
Just a reminder that at this point of the year, Wright was ranked 1st on any of those lists.Brindley:

Top 6 pick anyone?
Congrats on picking Barlow with the 9th pick Hughes. That’s what we have to look forward to I imagine.
Going to need a Lottery miracle.Congrats on picking Barlow with the 9th pick Hughes. That’s what we have to look forward to I imagine.
Why are we sure that we would not draft Michkov?
If we miss on the lottery and pick 6-8 and he is there its a no brainer imo. He has superstar potential and he is one of those rare prospects who will move the team forward.
In the 2022 draft? Which Russian was available and more interesting than the player we got at our spot tho? It's a theory but Hughes never dispelled it and they didn't take any Russians, so you tell me.

Trikozov is no Michkov !
This is shaping up to be a nicely offensive backline, raining a torrent of pucks on goal like a swarm of locusts from the Old Testament.I want Reinbacher so bad. I'm almost at the pint where if we aren't top 5 maybe even top 4 we should take him.
We already first line winger in CC + Slaf should be a top 6 forward + two top 6 centres in Suzuki + Dach. + the PLD rumors. Even if we don't get PLD we need 2 top 6 wingers (Farrel, Roy, Mesar, Heineman, Florida pick, UFA) you can find those players.
But if we get Reinbacher
Guhle - Reinbacher
Xhekaj - Mailloux
Hutson - Barron
Harris
Guhle - Reinbacher in their prime should be an elite shutdown pairing that also provides okay offense. Then Mailloux + Hutson can do some damage.
Another goal for Barlow today. That's now 38 goals in 47 games.Congrats on picking Barlow with the 9th pick Hughes. That’s what we have to look forward to I imagine.
I really like Carson Rehkopf, Kitchener.Just for reference to the size.
Habs definitely need some bigger bodies, but Detroit just iced the biggest line in NHL history and it was soft as f***.
A line of Scott Nichols would have f***ing threw them around. Granted Nichol was at the end of the tough gut era, but still.
You can have small players as long as they got some jam, but you'd want some extras in the lineup just incase the game goes into the gutter.
That said, what size players that are likely available late first, early second, or later are people intrigued by ?
Definitely Smith without hesitation.Who is the best playmaker in the draft? Heidt, Benson, Cristall, Smith or Carlsson?
Obviously !I don't care what everybody says, I want Fantili over Carlsson and Michkov.
There, I said it.

I agree with that choice, not that I would be unhappy with the other two if that ever happens.I want Carlsson

Michkov had a three-point game yesterday: a goal and two assists. One was a sweet dish to Alexander Gordin who had a wide open net. His goal was a very deceptive wrist shot that just blew by the goalie, top shelf. A blowout game for Michkov's team. He's getting a decent amount of ice time this season and is acclimating very well to the KHL after dominating the VHL. I honestly expect him to inch closer to PPG as the season draws to an end.
