How good is the defense this year ?
Last year we had
Nemec - Jiricek - Korchinski - Mutiyukov

This year we have
Pelikka - Reinbacher - Dragicevic - Gulyayev

Witch year is better ?? seems like 2022 have the edge here
Reinbacher compares to Minty and is slightly behind Jiri and Nemec. The rest okay-ish.

Call me crazy but I have that little man 6th on my list right now ahead of Oliver Moore, just a wonderful hockey player.
The high-end skill does not really appear to be there.

He's just an early October 2004 putting up points on a stacked team. Plenty of other late birthdays have had a PPG-ish draft year in the NCAA and gone on to just be middle 6ers as Brindley also projects: Luke Kunin, Colin Wilson, Jordan Schroeder, Drew Stafford, David Booth.

I like him, probably in the 15-25 range, and he'll have a long NHL career but there are more interesting options higher.

Also, wasn't watching very closely, but it seemed like Willander was Sweden's #1 over ASP in todays U18 game vs the US.

Nice tools at a glance, but haven't really paid attention to him defensively just yet.

Skills clearly are top 6 level, IQ off the chart, skating, compete high level, he just makes the right plays all the times.

That's why I asked you who you have ahead, Moore or Brindley, because to my eye it wasn't very clear.

Racking points on a bad team…? If he's on a better team, his stats will be way better.

A lot of nonsense gets passed around as analysis on hfboards. Man, if you are a twink born in August, someone on hfboards has you top 10 because of RoOm FoR gRoWtH.

Barlow without a bread accepting the community award.

His stock just went up 3 spots on HFHabs.

He's from my hometown, so it would be very cool to see him n the Habs!

I like both, Moore has great tools, but he has to show better playmaking and offensive awarenesses, I think its there, but still awaiting for him to show more. There is a possibility I drop him a bit if he doesnt display more offensive upside, still alot to like about though.

I dont really care about rankings, I take a look for entertainment purpose, but I usually end up with own list.

Last year I ended up with Slaf and Jiricek at the top of my list, Mintyukov at 5 and Kasper pretty high while all scouting services had him late 1st, Im not effraid to go out of concensus.

Oh. What your comparable to him and potential? He looks like a top 10 talent with his skillest.
Im not watching alot of NHL hockey outside of the Habs, I prefer to watch our own prospects and some prospects from the next drafts. So Im not very good to find comparisons. I like the Zuccarello one that Markovsknee brought to the conversation the other day.

I want Reinbacher so bad. I'm almost at the pint where if we aren't top 5 maybe even top 4 we should take him.

We already first line winger in CC + Slaf should be a top 6 forward + two top 6 centres in Suzuki + Dach. + the PLD rumors. Even if we don't get PLD we need 2 top 6 wingers (Farrel, Roy, Mesar, Heineman, Florida pick, UFA) you can find those players.

But if we get Reinbacher

Guhle - Reinbacher
Xhekaj - Mailloux
Hutson - Barron
Harris

Guhle - Reinbacher in their prime should be an elite shutdown pairing that also provides okay offense. Then Mailloux + Hutson can do some damage.
Where Bob McKenzie rank Reinbacher? Maybe Florida pick?
