Avs draft basically the only player type that they excel in drafting - small offensive dman (see Liles, Shattenkirk, Barrie, Makar, Girard (not drafted but heavily scouted).

Good for him. He’s the 2nd most talented player in the draft from a pure talent perspective ignoring everything else.

Flyers got one heck of a player. The Habs will regret this one.

Yup. Maybe even throw some money at his Russian team and get him early - not sure if that is possible.

Fun and interesting 1st round. Some surprises. Wish there'd been some trades but beggars cannot be choosers.
