It's the mother of all dead end questions you can ask these kids. Can we stop asking every player or GM when we can expect the draftee to make the team? It's such a stupid question and you'll get nothing interesting in the answer.
What a weird draft from the Yotes...
They don't call them the 'twins' for nothing, but if you watched the playoffs - especially when it got heavy vs the Petes - Cowan all the way.If I was limited to pick London Knights, I still wouldn't pick him. Denver Barkey is way underrated.
It was very likely he'd fall. And there's certainly high bust potential, but his upside is among the highest in the draft. Teams are crazy to not take the swing.Someone is going to get a real steal in Cristall.
And yet Barkey is gonna go like 104th or something. They don't call them the 'twins' for nothing, but if you watched the playoffs - especially when it got heavy vs the Petes - Cowan all the way.
I hope Colorado takes a swing with that pick from MontrealIt was very likely he'd fall. And there's certainly high bust potential, but his upside is among the highest in the draft. Teams are crazy to not take the swing.
I'm hope the shine of data "science" in the NHL wears off; otherwise we're looking at a future where the commentators barely watch the games but also refer to things like "based on the data, XYX is a comparable."
Advanced analytics in the NHL are mostly trash, anyways.I'm hope the shine of data "science" in the NHL wears off; otherwise we're looking at a future where the commentators barely watch the games but also refer to things like "based on the data, XYX is a comparable."
I'm stuck watching ESPN broadcast. It is atrocious. Meghan Chayka is supposed to be some kind of expert who has likely never seen any of these players play before. No one had anything to say about Theo Lindstein.
I don't think that's going to happen. Data is the new oil.
