70 flex as a pro player seems ridiculous , are there any other NHL players using that low? (Bedard says he uses 71/72 in interview for context)

Picked it,Wood is a good pick! Hope he stays in College another 2 years then make the move! Was hoping he would slide to the Kraken but maybe it was wishful thinking

The losers of the draft so far are the Habs

Not close

Zona is right there with them

Thompson, Dahlin, Power, Samuelsson, Levi, Benson, Savoie, Cozens etc.

Their youth and prospect pool is ridiculous.

Simashev is a very raw prospect. He's got the tools. I'm not saying he was nearly the right pick, but there is upside there and there is a strong likelihood that he's at least a 2nd pairing d-man too.

So we need to replace Crosby and Malkin eventually. Moore is a top 10 talent. Pens are also a slower team. Moore is the best skater in the draft. Come on, do it! Would be happy to pick ASP too though.

I get it, but they've been the "team with the brightest future" for well over half a decade, at some point you need results. I think they have a lot of talent, but I'm certainly not willing to say they have the brightest future of all the teams in the entire league, I don't know if I'd put them top 5, not until they show me something, anything, even a WC sneak.

I'm not sold on Simachev either, he's got some tools, but I think if you're drafting that high, picking a guy with middle pair upside is pretty f***ing absurd, I don't think he'll ever be a legitimate top pairing guy and that's pretty shameful for a #6 pick in a very deep draft as far as ceiling goes.
