Holy hell is the Bedard shit already too much. Hopefully the Penguins welcome him by beating them by 72.

So what are the Flames gaining by having Brad Treliving leaves the draft floor?

Someone fill in the blanks for those of us who had no clue

I was hoping the Kraken would get one of But,Wood or Honzek oh well...guess they will take the most skilled Forward or D-man available

Zona is right there with them

I get it, but they've been the "team with the brightest future" for well over half a decade, at some point you need results. I think they have a lot of talent, but I'm certainly not willing to say they have the brightest future of all the teams in the entire league, I don't know if I'd put them top 5, not until they show me something, anything, even a WC sneak.

I'm not sold on Simachev either, he's got some tools, but I think if you're drafting that high, picking a guy with middle pair upside is pretty f***ing absurd, I don't think he'll ever be a legitimate top pairing guy and that's pretty shameful for a #6 pick in a very deep draft as far as ceiling goes.
Again, Simashev certainly wasn't my 6th ranked player, but I do think there's a world he ends up a top pairing guy, if all goes well.

Well future. Not saying they're winning the cup next year.
I would say 2019 is where it really started. And after the Eichel trade. Unlike really any other team, they have 2 borderline franchise d-men. Plus a ton of elite forwards.

Thompson turned into a big surprise. I am very high on Benson, Savoie. I didn't like their Rosen pick much at all. But overall, they look scary. And it's not just the prospects. They've got young NHLers already producing. Thompson as I mentioned. Cozens. Dahlin, Power of course. Power just had his rookie season. Benson and Savoie haven't stepped in.

My prediction is Buffalo will be a regular playoff team for 10 years and can get to cup contention too.

RHD needs upgrading. But that should be easy with the prospect pool they can use in trades.
