Watching nearly all Yankee batters perplexed with outside pitches and opening their hips trying to pull everything... It is mind numbing... so hard to watch

Judge has been staying inside the baseball all season.... playoffs come around and he forgets how to hit

and btw... the new baseball playoff system is braindead.

You do not benefit by not playing a full week. It's a game of timing and finesse. Sitting on your ass does not benefit you

When other teams get a chance to score in these big games, they just slap the ball and make sure they get one or two. The Yankees refuse to do that because they know better.

To be fair, a couple of our guys had the right approach. Donaldson hit a missile with 2nd and 3rd and got robbed. Meanwhile the Guardians scored on a dying bird against the shift in the 10th.

I don't understand why the Yankees keep extreme shifting late into tied games when everyone is just looking to get on. Again, they know better than everyone else.

Tell that to the Mets

I’m not calling your team decent I’m saying anyone is decent or better makes the Yankees struggle. It was a Yankees post that really had nothing to do with the Indi

My apologies....I wrongly assumed Cleveland was included because they are currently playing them.

"This is gimmicky baseball ... It's ridiculous that [Judge] is hitting lead off. It's a mistake. I don't know who's doing it, Boone or Cashman, but somebody has to change that immediately."

At first I understood the logic behind wanting to get your best player up as much as possible. It’s not working though, the problem is DJ and Benintendi are out so who are you having lead off? Torres? IKF?

10. The Yankees are in trouble. No, they’re not turning to a washed-up Randy Johnson in Game 3 or begrudgingly giving the ball to Jaret Wright in Game 4. But they are going on the road having given away home-field advantage, have no pitching advantage in Game 3, will need to now use Cole again in this series rather than have him lined up for Game 1 of the ALCS, and don’t have a starter for Game 5.

Friday’s Game 2 loss was a bad one. I knew the Yankees would eventually lose a game in the postseason, but losing the way they did in Game 2 was hard to stomach. And now they’re in a bad spot. Not as bad a spot as they were 16 years ago, but not far from it either. This series is now guaranteed to go at least four games, and if the Yankees are able to survive and advance to the ALCS, the extremely difficult task of trying to upset the Astros just got that much harder with Cole being unable to go until Game 3 of the next round. Most importantly, for now, the task of eliminating the Guardians just got that much harder.

My confidence level going into tonight is very low. McKenzie threw 7 scoreless of 1 hit ball against us earlier in the year. Severino has to have his best stuff to give the Yankees a chance tonight.
