Cole is such a mental midget. It's so frustrating him basically breakdown after a single mistake after pitching well.

Every. Single. Start. Something wrong happens and then it just crashes and burns immediately.

If the Mets lose tonight, I’d be livid. I’m already pissed for yesterday, but this is now bordering disgrace level.
You should know by now the Mets can't do anything easy. LOL

You know this is coming down to the last game of the season.

I wouldn't have it any other way. It's like Game 7 OT's the rest of the way.

Escobar with all 5 runs scored, pulling it out in extra innings. OH BABY!

He got 24 RBIs in his last 24 games coming off an injury. Second in the league behind Alonzo in Sept. RBI's. That is clutch.

I feel really good about our chances in the playoffs. We match up well against LA.

Honestly, we should be the favorite to win the World Series.

>>> Best starting rotation in baseball
>>> Best closer in baseball
>>> Best 3rd and 4th batters in driving in runs.
>>> Not to mention having the 2nd best hitter in baseball
>>> Escobar solidifying the back end of the lineup.
>>> Solid defense with Lindor, McNeil and Guillorme up the middle.

We might not win it all, but we should be the top choice to do so. We have no weaknesses. We are so deep,... a 15 game winner might not get a start in the playoffs. But I hope he does. After having heart surgery and Leukemia, and then going out and winning 15 games for us, he deserves a spot in the rotation.

3rd best odds is about right I’d say. If the Mets stars (Pete/Lindor/Max/deGrom/Diaz) are all humming, it’s hard to see someone beating us 4/7. Anyway, it’s real nice being able to have the next 36 hours knowing we’re in the drivers seat before the first playoff series starts.

Getting the bye would be huge. We need to win the division. We don't wanna face LA earlier than necessary. Let Atlanta take them on first.

3rd best? Behind who?

LA & Houston. Mets take 2/3 this weekend and they are essential eliminating LA or ATL as a playoff opponent.

Not true. We will have to face one of them. They have a different set up this year. If we get the bye, ATL will face LA in the second round and then we play the winner.

Why in blue hell is Hicks still on the Yankees? Enough of this loser already.

He's had a good month of September. Batting in front of Judge is helping I'm sure. Doubt he's in the lineup come postseason.

I think the odds makers would disagree with you. They understand you have to face deGrom and Scherzer twice in a 7 game series.

First series will only be 5 games with only 1 day off. They'd have to go on 3-4 days rest to get a second start.

Not if they win the division and get the bye. That's why I think bookmakers will improve their odds if they get the bye. 7 games with deGrom and Scherzer getting 4 of them. That's like having Justin Verlander and Clayton Kershaw on the same team. Probably better.

It's amazing the best pitchers in baseball, that have 10 Cy Young's between them are all older than 34.

If they get the bye they still have to play in the NLDS, which is five games.

Max/deGrom is still a great 1-2 punch though, no doubt.
