Yanks have done a nice job here last few weeks not letting Jays or Rays back in it, 12-4 last 16, get 2 of 3 this weekend, and the Jays series probably won't mean anything next week for the Yanks.

MLB is being weird in that they don’t want to recognize Bonds, McGuire, or Sosa, but they also aren’t treating 62 as a special number.
because they dont want to talk about steroids at all if they don't have to. If they were treating 62 as a special number, every mention of the record would have to come with some sort of disclaimer which would call unwanted attention about steroids.

I guess they figure its best just not to say anything at all.

It really sucks that it's pretty much predetermined that he will start game 1 when Cortes has much better #'s this season, immeasurably better composure, and doesn't wilt under pressure each and every time.
Cole's stats and underlying stats are good and fine for the most part. It's really just the home runs that have plagued him this season.

That said, the 3 starters for sure are Cortes, Cole, and Severino.

Cole
Holmes
Chapman
Tallion
Luetge
Loaisiga
Trevino
Britton
Schmidt
Wissert

Tell me who you trust… Tell me who you love… Tell me whose jersey would buy?
How many would crack the Mets 11?

We’re in trouble …

Don’t be fooled by beating up on Pittsburgh or Boston …

Btw 93 wins is disappointing considering what we originally projected as a 1998 like Season.

Cole would easily crack the Mets 11 lol. Quit your vendetta hate against him already, the shtick is old.

Chapman as well. Both Cole and Chapman I'd trust based on their past track record.

You trust Chapman to throw his slider in a big spot only to see it go 426 feet .

Cole would be a bottom rotation guy in queens .

$324 million

30 hr against .

Boone trying to put the fire out today in the media .

Big big concerns with pitching.

Cashman has always ignored the starting pitching until he can’t. That’s how we got CC Sabathia and AJ Burnett.

A bunch of guys that to 5 innings, with a bullpen that’s lights out until the end of the season because they’re worn out because they have starters that go 5 innings.

Cole has been a bust signing. He’s still a decent pitcher, but that’s a horrible contract.

I was watching the Met game the other night and noticed the woman. The broadcast panned on her a couple of times because they probably noticed her just continued to smile weirdly. But I don't recall Cohen or Darling making any comment about the weirdness. It was friggin weird, and I kept thinking what was up with that woman.

Aaron Judge is now homerless in his last six games AND 26 plate appearances 👀 New York Yankees
