Wtf happened to this damn Yankees team? I didn't expect them to sustain their pace but they've been a sheer embarrassment lately. Gutless to the core

Would almost be wreckless for Judge to stay

Mets are collecting injuries at the wrong time.

Would have liked for Baty or Vientos to get the call in place of Guillorme. Are they waiting until September?

Alvarez has been scuffling a bit lately. Not anything to cause concern, but he definitely hasn't mastered AAA pitching. I'm cool with him staying down. I probably would have called up Vientos over Baty, too, but that's just me. Baty the better overall player but could probably benefit from another couple weeks in AAA.

The thinking with Alvarez is that it’s too much to ask him to learn an entirely new pitching staff in middle of a pennant chase. Sort of like bringing in a QB in Week 14 to learn a new playbook.

Walker is not exactly durable, is he? Last outing he caught his shoe on the rubber and that messed him up.

Cashman rebuilt the Yankees from an old, slow team with poor fundamentals, suspect pitching, and an over reliance on the long ball...into an old, slow team with poor fundamentals, suspect pitching, and an over reliance on the long ball.

He needs to go. 25 years. 25 years and 1 Championship. His glory days were with Stick Michaels guys.

Kudos to Alvarez for clawing his way back to the majors after seven years, but it looks like it’ll be a short stay.

The Yankees are going to miss the playoffs.

The Rays are looking at 95, 96 wins and they're the six seed. The Orioles are right behind them and are the hottest team in baseball.

The Yankees have 45 games left and are suddenly in a position where they need to win a majority of those. 23-22 and gives them 95 wins.

I don't see them going anywhere near 23-22.

They are not missing the playoffs lol. They need to get heaLthy and they will be fine

Cashman is a disaster. If he had any of our jobs, he would have been fired 8 times over the past 10 years.

Amazing that he still can’t bring in any good hitters. It’s long-ball or bust with him which obviously doesn’t work.

And there's the narrative that's going to keep everyone around for another shitty year in 2023

Too much bargain shopping. Richest team in baseball and they trot out reclamation projects all over the lineup.

They're going to replace Judge with some project.

At least the Yanks will try some of the kids, what's the worse that can happen? They continue to lose, oh no.

REPORT: The Yankees are calling up 23-year-old Oswaldo Cabrera who’s recently been tearing it up at Triple-A. He plays 2B/3B/SS and is hitting .264/.343/.500 with 8 HR and a 122 wRC+ in 46 games with the Railriders.

Aaron Hicks Is Statistically The Worst Player In Major League Baseball

His first 3 championships were with Gene Michael’s guys. Want to give him some credit for that? Go ahead, but it’s clearly time for a new direction.

This is like a less drastic version of The Giants. How long do you go before you finally admit that the old way isn’t working anymore?
I hated the direction of this team, especially at the plate, since they fired Chambliss.
