It's true. Boone is awful, but at this point, Boone has been awful with all kinds of rosters over the years, and at that point, it becomes a roster construction issue, which lands on the lap of...whoever Cashman decides to fire next

I’m in the camp that I think the lineup and pitching decisions are 90% made above Boones pay grade. I think they have him to make the players comfortable, take orders, and be a mouthpiece to the press. I just think it’s time to overhaul everything from the top down. They need clever young baseball minds and maybe an old gritty base kicking manager, but I doubt either happen.

Cashman should have been out of a job years ago. Its insane that he's basically got Al Davis status with this franchise because he was able to augment a generational core that he had no hand in putting together with basically an open checkbook 20+ years ago.

Just saw the Mets 3rd baseman take an unusual route to catching a pop-up. I give the kid the benefit of the roubt. I feel bad for him because not only does he have that embarrassing play in front of thousands of people but to top ot off the ball bounces right off his face. Tough break kid.
