It’s incredible how the Mets core has moved up and down season by season in lock step the past few years. I don’t know if it’s hitting coach and approach/strategy but it’s nearly completely unified.

I saw Jarred Kelenic broke his foot kicking a water cooler. Nice. It's amazing how inconsequential that trade ended up being in the overall baseball landscape.

Reminds me of the Montero for Pineda trade for the Yankees.

Everyone shat themselves over that trade one way or another.

Montero was a huge bust and Pineda was a guy.

That was also Seattle!

maybe kelenic was practicing in anticipation for auditions to play for the seattle seahawks in case jason myers struggles or gets injured? he's accurate - he didn't miss the cooler.

Maybe they would’ve went after Murphy if this f***head was honest

Nice of them to play without a LF or C all season

I’d be willing to overpay a bit to get Bellinger as long as they plan to keep him. Yankees will need a CF or LF minimum where he can play and the no shift has rejuvenated him. Also we need a lefty threat at YS even if Rizzo remembers how to hit.

What a great funny play by Cole. Looks like he tricked Witt in to going for second. Very nice! :D

Yankees are playing .742 ball when they score 3+ runs. That tells you how awful their offense has been most of the season.

Is there really any way they can fix it? Does Judge and Bellinger add 1/2 more runs per game? Can they get 2 additional bats? (Maybe C/3B the other?)

Need more contact hitters. Too many 200-250 hitters. Call Mattingly and Boggs.

that goes against their shit 'model'. K's and HR's. 0 situational hitting. 0 gameplan besides, hit homerun.

It's painfully obvious they need more solid contact guys. How is the team BA .230? That's embarrassing. How isn't there entire front office and managers replaced yet? .230?

Judge is the only guy worth anything. Tampa Bay has a 70M payroll ( cost of Judge and Stanton ) , yet somehow they field a competent team.

The executives of this team sucks.

Seems like so called analytics have a lot of mlb teams playing for the homerun just like in the NBA many now play for the 3 point shot. Used to be team batting averages were in the 270's. Now I think its in the 240's.

Yankees should sign Lee when he’s posted this year. On base machine who has only K’d 32 times in 627 PAs this season in Korea (but they’ll shy away from international talent again I’m sure)

and that's predominantly why I stopped watching.

It's a far cry from the 98 Yankees. Bring back Chambliss and Gene Michael
