I agree they need to make moves but it's still not clear who they'd move out. If someone wants Escobar or Pham that would be great, but they feel like the type of guys we'd have to pay to have someone take. I think Pham is giving them what they expected so they probably don't want to move him.Mets need to make moves after this road trip.
Get Baty up. Vientos can platoon at DH with Vogelbach. If he crushes it, then he takes the job.
Get rid of Locastro. Pham can be 4th OF bc I’m not convinced of Canha anyway.
Yeah I don’t care for any of those ideas at all.![]()
MLB to test more rule changes in Atlantic League
MLB announced a series of experimental rules that will be used in the Atlantic League this season, including a designated pinch runner, "double-hook" designated hitter rule and further limitations on a pitcher's ability to make pickoff moves.www.espn.com
MLB needs to chill the f*** out.
We’re good for now, give it at least 5 years to see how things progress before adding more restrictions to pitchers for example![]()

Maybe he just wasn’t getting a good grip in warmups?I don't understand why Scherzer would need to cheat. Seems off to me. And this isn't me just rushing to defend my guy, as I don't really have any specific attachment to him. He's just been outspoken about this stuff before, and the way he reacted he just seemed totally incredulous. The fact that it was Phil Cuzzi again also seems like it's maybe more than a coincidence and MLB needs to institute some more uniform and rigid standards here.
