Are we going to trade up to 4th to take Leonard?
That was a great episode. The question about Bedard's weakness is just great content. I really like what Marek has become, even if he isn't always rosey about the Yotes.
Also, I didn't take the moving up bit as in we would do it to get Leonard. I took it more as of Carlsson or Fantilli fall do we aggressively try to move up to get one. Maybe even try to move to three to do it. Could be wrong though, as it sounds like we love the kid and I can see BA doing his best Chayka impression and tell the room we aren't leaving without him.
Another thought, could it be that we aggressively move up from 12 to get Leonard if we don't take him at 6? Philly could use a boat load of picks.
I believe that was the first time I've heard someone say Carlsson could go 2nd.
Lots of praise for Reinbacher. Makes me feel a bit better if we are a "disruptor" and take him at 6. Sounds like Montreal could be the team to go off the script first too, as they hinted them being a great spot for Michkov and mentioned Reinbacher could be of interest.
The concern for Michkov sounds like it's not just off ice stuff. Sounds like there is some concern of why he played on four teams this season. As much as I want him, I don't think I will have any issue on passing on him. I really hope he goes to the Caps. I think that would be best for the player and for hockey.
I'm pretty sold on Leonard.

Here is a question… if the top 4 go like we think it will .. and then MTRL takes Leonard… do we take Smith? I know a lot of us weren’t impressed with him earlier on… just curious if our thoughts have changed because of alot of the updated rankings etc..
I'd be thrilled with Smith at 6. I think he would be by far BPA at that point and you can't have too many centers. That being said...
There were some comments on the podcast about players being a little immature to answering questions about their own weakness. The first name that came to my mind was Smith. He seems like the type to be a bit too cocky and seems like a "my only weakness is that I try too hard at everything" type of guy. If Smith acts the way he plays he could be a kid who isn't incredibly coachable, which I think is one of the factors that drives the posters who aren't as impressed with him to be a bit down on him.
