A lot of guys put up offensive numbers in Jr, and that only proves they can skate and make a first pass at the NHL level sometimes.

EJ was a run and gun type if I'm not mistaken, and so was JJ.

I wouldn't say JJ was purposely a run and gun type. He's just didn't have the coaching encouraging him to play stay at home solid D type game.

Schenn got a third last year (better year but didn’t have the fifth)… same sorta guy. Bottom pairing depth guys are a dime a dozen.
