I'm hate-listening to PHLY and even Charlie is now saying the obvious about Frost - Why not play him during this transitional period to confirm if his performance last year was real or not?

Yeah he said there isn’t 12 forwards better than Frost on this roster & if we’re talking current play he could name at least 5 others that could have been scratched over Frost.

ASF said the more recent issue on Tortorella’s end could be because Frost held out so long with his contract situation missing the voluntary time in August. Therien again said that’s ridiculous & shouldn’t concern Tortorella because it’s business.

Another funny part was when Russ & ASF were going back & forth was when ASF claimed Tortorella built those New York teams than mentioned Ryan Callahan, Marc Staal, & Dan Girardi. He was iffy on mentioning Brandon Dubinsky apart of that fabulous young core Tortorella built.

Yeah. Asf is Torts defending hard, he acts like he hasn't gotten a number of already established players in the league, he was like they were only 24, but on the same note frost is what he is because he's 24, he's stretching goal posts to defend torts and its really weird

We may end up with a Briere versus Tortorella power fight on our hands. It’ll be interesting to see which way Jones goes.
I think that DB gives the coach a lot of space. However this Frost thing has gotten out of hand. Unless Frost has done something egregious to merit being benched that we don’t know. Briere has to step in and stop this nonsense.
The club is trending towards bottom four or five in the league. Attendance will crash along with this. When that happens, Torts may be out of here at the end of the season.

I admit I was cautiously optimistic when Briere was hired. But early indications are he is just a spineless cuck.
