Ahhh, I see we're back to the Torts benches everyone excuse....which just simply isn't true
"hockey is a honest game!Just a reminder for anyone here that seems to care at all about the Flyers roster...
You make a lot of assumptions, then pass them along as fact, without any evidenceThat's because a lot of people here jump to conclusions without evidence.
No, I don't pass them along as fact, and I give cites when I can find them. You make a lot of assumptions, then pass them along as fact, without any evidence
We have plenty of evidence that Torts holds Frost to different standards than other forwards. It couldn't be more obvious. That's because a lot of people here jump to conclusions without evidence.
That's just simply not anywhere close to being true, but you do youNo, I don't pass them along as fact, and I give cites when I can find them.
You just don't like anything that doesn't agree with your preconceived prejudices.
A rebuilding team decided not to trade 29 year Scott Laughton for a 1st and a 2nd (possible denied more than one offer), and is now benching their young center that needs play time for half a dozen games because they want to showcase Laughton? A player who has been in the leauge for a decade?I doubt it has anything to do with Frost not kissing Tort's ass.
Frost has said and done the right things.
And if Torts really had it in for Frost, why sign him to a two year bridge? Why wasn't he traded over the summer?
I suspect it's more about Torts/Briere wanting more information on other players and their roles, especially Foerster (keep on team?) and Tippett (can he adjust to LW?).
Fans may feel urgency, but if they feel they're rebuilding, then Briere can afford to be patient and wait a few more games before making some decisions (send Foerster down to LHV, move Tippett to RW and Laughton to LW, keep TK at LW or trade for a LW).
It probably comes down more to Laughton v Frost, which may be driven by Tort's preference for Laughton as an all around player or Briere's desire to showcase Laughton (i.e. if they really wanted to get rid of Frost, they'd play him a lot of minutes in offensive situations to pad his stats).
Why don't you tell us who you think the final decision maker is? It would help me parse what you are posting.I was told Torts was the final decision maker. Now the story changes?
I liked the Venli chaptersAlmost done with the Rhythm of War audiobook. My goodness I don't want to hear anymore about Venli.
Next read is The Will of the Many by James Islington hopefully that'll be a fun read.
f*** off, dude.
You can't call people out for making claims based on no evidence, then when asked for evidence for your claims use a lack of evidence as an explanation.Because they haven't said Foerster has a starting job.
Brink on the other hand, it's obvious just from his TOI.
Something has to give, and at that point we'll have a better idea what's going on.

I think, from what's been reported, that Briere is the final decision maker on personnel decisions, but he has a collaborative style, and generally is on the same page with Torts. But Briere the player wasn't a shrinking violet, so I expect Briere the GM won't shy from making hard decisions. Why don't you tell us who you think the final decision maker is? It would help me parse what you are posting.
His love for Torts is unreal.
I'll always gladly focus my anger towards the front office and Ian Laperriere.
You don't have to encourage me on that one.
Clues = 0

Put him on fricken ignore he is just here for an attention grab .It's not even slightly mysterious to anyone but you.
Torts wants to find more minutes for Farabee sings whole line praises, moves entire line down to 3rd lineTorts likes Frost. Ignore he called him a toilet seat.

Torts scratched Zamula after a win to put in a clearly not ready 21 year old Andrae. But can't find any room for Frost after two straight losses.Torts likes Frost. Ignore he called him a toilet seat.
