As someone who experienced mental health struggles for the first time this past year...

I get the questionable optics of it...but its plausible that his mental health is currently making it impossible to play in the NHL at the moment. In that case, stress-free time with friends like this is good for his mental health.
Sorry to hear about your struggles... I've been there before. The only thing I was questioning was the optics. When I was going through my shit, I was around my friends a lot who truly understood what I was going through and were there to balance me out and provide an ear if I wanted to talk.

Appreciate it! Doing better now. Took some time to figure out since I didn't understand what was happening. Good friends and family definitely help.

Okay boyz we have the 7th overall pick , who should we be realistically looking at . I assume center and D are our two biggest needs but what will Danny Boy do ?

Don't just give a name , mention what you like about him and why he would be a good fit .

4 teams, including the 2015 Flyers, have finished with 18. as mentioned, Torts is rolling at nearly 20% OT losses over his last 3 seasons. it ain't shit to get to 25% with a slightly "better" team.

If I remember right that team only won 37 games but got into the playoffs with those 18 loser points

I hope you are on the right track to being in a good place. Depression sucks

I totally relate to you man, I always had anxiety/panic attack issues, but the past 2 years have been by far the hardest years I had ever had to deal with, if im being honest, it damn near costed me my marriage, it's gotten to the point where I haven't even driven in more than a year because my panic attacks are so bad, I got in the car a few days ago, made it to the second stop sign and had a full blown panic attack, and it's maybe 75 yards of driving I was able to do, which was progress from the previous attempt, hell its not even just driving, i can be having a good day, spending time with the wife and what not, and go into a full blown panic, i honestly wouldnt even wish it on fletcher or my worst enemy, when I do get panic attacks it hurts my body so badly, that it legit feels like I've been in a serious car accident, my entire body hurts for a solid week, and stay nauseous (which unfortunately messes with my panic attacks much more because my biggest fear is puking) but I get how bad mental health can be so if you ever need to talk homie feel free to shoot me a message, that's why I work from home, because it's gotten to the point where I can't go, and can't get the meds right so it's a struggle, but having said all of this, I see zero issues with him going out with friends, everyone's mental health hits them differently, and he shouldnt be put on blast for doing something that can absolutely help him

Sorry to hear about your struggles! My first panic attack while driving was tough. Had to pull over because I felt I didnt have control of the car. Have you talked to a therapist and/or psychiatrist? It definitely helped me. I use MD Live and do video chat with a psychiatrist. Taking a low dose of an anti-anxiety med now and I havent had any issues in months. If you need some advice on setting that up, hit me up! There are good solutions out there.

Doing much better! Thanks brochacho.

I wish the best for those of you who are struggling. I do and it isnt easy but life keeps moving forward.

Is there 2023 draft post that is missing or something? Feels like there usually is a thread outside of the mock draft by now. I really need people to tell me who to actually get excited about at 7.Then 22 of course

NVM the thread got bumped

Do you want me to beat Amazon up
Jeff bezos you can beat up for me, the way they did it screwed me out of 25k worth of stocks, so I was there for almost 10 years, I told them I was having issues with my mental health that I was gonna schedule some time off to get it squared away, they said "will it negatively impact your job and the performance in which we are accustomed from you" I said no it shouldn't, but I'm gonna take a week vacation, get in see the Dr and what not ( I had 4 weeks of vacation left) the day before I came back they sent me an email stating that I had lied when I was hired and checked no to any disabilities, and since panic/anxiety is considered a disability that means you committed fraud in order to get the job, and which we appreciate the years and dedication you put in with this company, you're terminated effective immediately, and due to the nature in which you are being let go, your stock options within the company are now null and void and will return to the company, we wish you luck in getting the help you need and all of your future endeavors, furthermore having committed fraud, you'll know longer be allowed to work for amazon or any other company that amazon owns or is partnered with

You should get a lawyer for this. Mental health issues aren't something your born with so they have no grounds to say you lied on your application. f***ing scumbags.

Sorry to hear that, I'd think the stock options were "earned" and they're basically stealing from you.
They said that committing fraud makes them null and void, something about morality clause

How was Emil Andrae in his short time last season in the AHL? Does he have a future in the NHL??
I certainly think so, he did very well in the minors, the only knock on him is his size (even though he uses the size he has very well) had he been even 6'1 I think he'd had been a late first

EVERYTHING ive ever heard about working for Amazon makes it out like your signing on for legal slavery..

def. a total shit co.

They seem to be my best choice for getting my career switch on without a crippling and ruinous paycut while I start low, but I just can't. I've heard too many horror stories from all over. I value my sanity.
