Cousins dropped his gloves. The guy who kept his gloves glued on when challenged to a fight was intimidating them?
Then again, so did McAvoy.

I must have missed cousins answering the bell. Because McAvoy asked him to go.Cousins dropped his gloves.

He did, while behind a ref. The ref had McAvoy locked up, Cousins also had his gloves off.I must have missed cousins answering the bell. Because McAvoy asked him to go.

I'm just saying. You said Cousins kept his gloves glued on when he didn't. I never said anything about intimidation.Very intimidating.
I saw the Cousins turtle differently.I'm just saying. You said Cousins kept his gloves glued on when he didn't. I never said anything about intimidation.
He also didn't turtle. I legitimately have no idea what you're even talking about now. You're actually making things up.I saw the Cousins turtle differently.
To break out of the physicality talk cycle - if Edmonton continues their fall and picks in the top 10, in the offseason:
Would you trade Ullmark for that pick, assuming he'll waive his NTC?
Would Edmonton be desperate enough to trade that pick for Ullmark or would there need to be an add?
They probably need to move Campbell, although not too many teams are taking that contract.Did a quick look at their cap situation for next year.
They have about 10 million to spend but need 5 forwards and 1 D and 1 G to get to 20.
Not impossible, but they’d have to move out a couple of players making real money.
Love this idea too. But are the Predators moving on from him?Yakov Trenin would be ideal, he plays that tenacious style the Bruins like, very physical and good enough defensively to play against the other team's top forwards. So he probably ends up in Tampa.
He's a UFA so maybe if they can't sign himLove this idea too. But are the Predators moving on from him?
According to my calculations they have over 20 million in cap space next season. Could be a lot more depending on the cap.Did a quick look at their cap situation for next year.

I was going by cap friendlyAccording to my calculations they have over 20 million in cap space next season. Could be a lot more depending on the cap.
But they do need a ton of players signed. I agree with that much.
3 defenders, 1 goalie and like 4-5 forwards.
9 players essentially sharing the remaining 20+ million. I think the cap is jumping though.
I am sure we do have a different definition of intimidated but to get to the question you asked I would be very wary of moving either goalie right now unless a young top 2 center was the return. To break out of the physicality talk cycle - if Edmonton continues their fall and picks in the top 10, in the offseason:

Think we've got a wildly different definition of intimidation.

I think the main sticking point would be Ullmark waiving, but hypothetically speaking they could get that lottery pick from the Oil and now have a pretty valuable asset that they can use to obtain a top 6C.I am sure we do have a different definition of intimidated but to get to the question you asked I would be very wary of moving either goalie right now unless a young top 2 center was the return.
Also I don't know much about this years draft, say Edmonton comes in between 8-12, is there an impact prospect there or is this a weak draft?
Also can't see Ullmark waiving.

Lauko might be as willing as Greg Campbell but he might also lose a fight with Greg Campbell. No thanks. Forbort has a better chance.I wonder how willing Lauko is going to be to fight, given his injury.
Understandably.
What’s not to like about Beecher, Steen and Lauko?Dark horse to upgrade 4th line and physically Taylor Raddysh?
Coyle threw several big hits last night. The play at the end of the second where Heinen didn’t shoot was started by Coyle plastering Luostarainen to the glass and taking the puck.I feel like they could have used it last night, no?

Except Trenin makes $1.7m. They can’t afford him without moving a fairly important/expensive piece. I think they need to look at guys making less than $1m.Much better suggestion than McEwan, I personally see Shattenkirks spot as one to look to add some size, although RD are already hard to come by.
