That's a bunch of BS, about Florida going after Charlie!
No more cheap shots to anyone, there is too much of that crap going on, it has to stop, the NHL needs to clean that shit up!
Also no player deserves to be cross checked around the face or head, no matter the situation, it's a bunch of crap!
Yup just change the name instead of National Hockey League it can be called the No Hit League.

The Bruins need to clean that shit up when it happens to them.

Zach Hyman!!!

6 '1' 206. Plays heavy, physical, and skilled. Year 3 of 7 year contract. Always produces. Already 10 goals and 7 helpers on a brutal team. Plays both ends of the rink. PK and PP player. Versatile.
You’ve now posted this multiple times. His cap hit is $5.5 million, how are you fitting him in when the bruins are already tight to the cap?

Had no problem with how the McAvoy situation was handled. Panthers ran him, Charlie took his lumps and when he had enough, he drop the mitts and challenged the last offender. End of conflict. Guys that commit suspendable offenses can usually handle themselves, don't need protection from teammates.
I do agree with this as Charlie had to answer for a dirty hot however someone needed to step in for Poitras when cross checked to the face.

Whatever they do, I don’t want pure rentals. If it’s a 4th liner who costs a fourth rounder, fine. If they’re giving up good value it needs to be for players with term or they plan on retaining past this year.
Keep the retool going strong

And I think that’s their normal way of doing things, last year was an exception.
I have been railing against the Bruins going after a center that like a Lindholm, that would need to be resigned and he is not going to be cheap, and costly obtain. I have also been against getting players with miles on them and paying a lot also, but let me put this out there, I do not think Nashville will make the playoffs, Posters have been mentioning, Trenin as a player that could help this team, I have always like Lauzon, defense I think needs a add, now for the big one which is against what I been preaching, but what about Ryan O'Reilly, I know ,I know it is a reach, but it does give some room if Poitras starts to struggle also gives center depth in case of injury, The contract 4.5 a year with 3 more years after this season brings him to 35 when it is over, but here is something to consider he has no trade or movement clause in his contract , if the centers now start to develop like we hope they will could he then be moved for assets. I just don't want to get bogged down with a 8 year contract for 8-9mil a year for 29-30 year old. I also am not saying all three of those players, but just trying to give some food for thought. I know some money would have to be moved out but ,I think it is something to consider.

Not a particular fan of Haggerty or Mick Colageo, but the latter knows his stuff.

This edition of "Pucks With Haggs" is worth viewing for a few reasons. They discuss Milan, talk about Mathew's recent rookie wall, and the fact that winning draws, once a reliable strength for the Bruins, has been trending in the wrong direction. Minus Patrice and DK#46, Boston no longer dominates at the dot.

That's a problem, which has flown under the radar because thus far Boston has been able to overcome it.

How long can that last, and as well as Pavel and Charlie have played, will the addition of another strong two way C be necessary at (or before, as is Sweeney's preference) the trade deadline?

They don't discuss it here, as the podcast aired before the FLA game, replacing Milan, the lack of response to the Poitras cross check, and the need for greater team wide physicality is, as usual for me, a deep concern.

Chris Nilan interviews PJ Stock. At podcast's end, they delve into the state of the NHL game -- which both describe as "a mess" -- and the benefit of bringing back the red line,

Maybe I’m in the minority here but I don’t see face offs as a huge detriment right now…I mean Coyle, Zacha, Beecher, Geekie and Brown are all over 50%. It’s really Poitras who is struggling the most (rightfully so he’s learning the game). He probably should have a guy like Geekie on his line who can switch over for important draws but I see carelessness and quick decision making in the defensive zone as a much more glaring issue. This is where the loss of Bergy and Krejci hurt the most IMO

An impact top 6 center who can drive play and be defensively responsible and can close out games (E.Lindholm, Hertl, etc) would be a huge add IMO

It's a problem on the PP. Every PP starts with a FO loss, hard rim and clear. 20 seconds wasted. My wife said today they should just have Marchand stand over at the far blue line to wait for the rim, lol.

The Bruins will have a defensive decision to make Saturday when Matt Grzelcyk is expected to return to action for an afternoon start against the Rangers in Manhattan.
Grzelcyk has been out since suffering an upper-body injury in the overtime win against the Panthers Oct. 30.
His return means that somebody gets bumped. The candidates include Ian Mitchell, Kevin Shattenkirk, and rookie Mason Lohrei.

Mitchell and Shattenkirk have been alternating as the healthy scratches lately, while Lohrei has been skating with Grzelcyk’s normal partner, Charlie McAvoy.

Lohrei has one goal and three points in the 10 games since his call-up from Providence. He’s shown tantalizing glimpses that he will be a big part of the Bruins blue line for the next several years, but has also made some rookie blunders.

Well, we’ve been communicating, showing video to Mason after every game and I think [assistant coaches] Joe Sacco and assistant coach John McLean have done a really good job of showing him where he’s really good and where his game needs to evolve,” said coach JimMontgomery. “And those things are reading rushes and being firm on puck battles. And also in our D zone, take away time and space.”

Lohrei has proven he can play at the NHL level, but he may need to go to Providence because playing consistent minutes would probably be better than having him play in a rotation with Mitchell and Shattenkirk.

“He’s a tremendous young hockey player. We’re so excited we have him, right?” said Montgomery. ”And I mean there’s growing pains with young players. There just is. I’m sure there was with [Patrice] Bergeronwhen he was 18.”

After a brief pause, Montgomery smiled and laughed.

“Probably not,” he added.

I always like tough guys who aren’t afraid to drop the gloves.

This might be an unpopular opinion but I think you should be prepared to fight if you throw a monster hit, even if it’s 100% legal. Simmonds might be cooked yet i still think he was born to be a Bruin.
