Janicke expired from our reserve list despite returning to school next year. If anyone can explain why he was removed but Perbix wasn't, please do.

It would've made more sense if Perbix was the one to expire because he was drafted a year earlier, but I don't understand it either.

I’m very excited about the future of this ducks defense.

Offensively leaves a bit to be desired. I’m still unsure about how I feel with the players we received during this years draft (after Carlsson of course)

The future is mostly now with our forward group. We've solidified four of our top-6 for the present and near future with Terry, Z, Mac, and big Carl. Asst GM Madden is looking for elite support for the top-6 and we might have them in Hvidston and Myatovic, two wingers who are known for their defense. And we might be drafting a forward in the top-15 in the next draft.

I'm more than happy with the known quantities we have with our present/near present forwards. We're all excited about the future of our Ducks' defense, but we really don't know what we have. Drysdale is still an unknown quantity.

EP also dropped its 51-100 prospects rankings, but I don't have a subscription right now to post it.

72: LaCombe
Moore also was a HM.

I expect Carlsson to be top 3, Minty to be top 15, Zellweger to be top 30, and Luneau to be barely in the top 50. I think there is a chance Minty pushes top 10. EP loves him.

Expect Carlsson to be top 5, I think EP has valued Bedard, Michkov, Fantilli ahead of him at times, and Logan Cooley could possibly be ranked ahead as well.

Unfortunately feels like relapses are all but inevitable, just shocked it came back so quickly. Thankfully he's in great shape and seems optimistic - good look Will!

Poor kid. That's not fair.
Sadly, cancer is never fair. It is bad to get it the first time, and then there is always a percentage of cases that relapse, no matter how good the treatment the first time. The key to continued survival for any cancer patient is excellent monitoring and medical care, and hopefully he gets that.

I know from personal experience that cancer can return. But with the right doctors and medical care I am still alive 14 years after my initial surgery and 4 more years after my second surgery. I hope to die from some reason other than cancer.

I hope you die doing whatever you love.

Sucks to hear that. Can't believe there was a relapse so soon. Life can be so unfair sometimes. Hopefully he's able to beat it again.

We are number one in his rankings and he didn't even include perreault nor Tracey.
