all the offseason/early season injuries that happen in this club just seem like mysterious forever injuries. Benning, Couture, Nuttivaara, Laroque, Carlsson, Vlasic, Celebrini, etc, etc

Speaking of Gannon Laroque and forever injuries, he's down in Wichita of the ECHL at the moment, and they actually placed him on IR over the weekend. Have no idea what happened, he hasn't even dressed in any of their games this season.

He's got one more year on his ELC, I'm starting to wonder if he's even going to still be playing hockey at the end of it.

Is it possible we see Furlong getting some games this year?
Maybe, but I wouldn't expect it. Thompson just got the call-up, Shakir will be sooner than later and Luca will for sure see some time. I suppose if they want to call up a 4th d-man for a look, but remember, Vlasic will also be back at some point and unless they're waiving D-men most of the guys there now aren't going anywhere.

Sadly probably not. Hes Jeremy Roy 2.0

It seems like Goose finally earned a spot on the team more or less (thanks to Dellandrea being injured and Kostin only playing well when he sorta feels like it). He’s got Bordeleau and Graf nipping at his heels so I really hope after this last game we start seeing him breakthrough a little more.

With how Granlund is playing, I do wonder if it behooves us to keep him on the 1st line, even when Celebrini is back. You either reunite the Lund line and have Gushchin/Smith - Celebrini - Toffoli as the 2nd line or have it be:

Eklund - Granlund - Toffoli
Gushchin - Celebrini - Zetterlund
Smith / Wennberg - Smith / Wennberg - Goodrow

I like this idea, it also gives Celebrini a smooth way back into line up. Also would love to have Celebrini and Smith on the same PP if it's possible, I think they could really help each other out.

I had this thought that playing with Celebrini might help Smith a bit, both because of just who Celebrini is and the comraderie of the two of them playing together. But I think the Sharks prefer Smith to keep trying to be a center for now (though I suspect after a few more games of trying it they might move him to wing which I think might help him).

Did we get the defenseman we need?

Not sure why, but I can’t access that thread!

if it's just that you can't see it, it might be because you have the OP ignored. if you can't access it at all, then that'd be weird.
I haven’t ever ignored anyone on here. I can’t see the thread at all. Here is the error I’m getting when I click the above link.
