bonk hasnt had a great game today but its the 3rd game in 3 days and theyre still double shifting him so i dont think hes even alive at this point

hes got a hatty now lol 13 points in 8 games this year not bad for a lil wee baby
But does he have any skill besides converting on absolutely perfect passes (mostly from #7). In these highlights i have yet to see elusive skating or stickhandling...At his size his game does not convert to the NHL without them

Cowan is a legit prospect for the Leafs. I would take him over at least 12 players drafted before him. That's also a comment on what I thought of the class, but he's real for a D-year <0.8 points/game.
Cowan has the NHL athleticism and projectability, but Barkey is the better passer and smarter of the two (at that level). It's a mischaracterization to say Barkey stands around waiting for Cowan to feed him. How it plays in 2-3 years, I don't know.

Phantoms were outplayed, but Peterson was awful, hard to imagine he was once a NHL starter.
The first line was bad, Laczynski and Allison stunk out the joint, don't know if they're just upset with being demoted, or this is why they were demoted.
Mete was really bad on defense, he's really regressed from the kid who started for the Habs at 20.
But it's only one game, however, a few repeat performances like this and some players may hit the waiver wire. Unfortunately, they'll have to wait until summer to buy out Peterson.
They;'ll have some cap room next year for buyouts and oddles of room in 2025-26, so it's a matter of whether they want to spend $3.85M next year or spread it over two years at $1.67M. Makes more sense to free up cap room next season ($2.2M) b/c a little extra in 2025-26 won't be noticed.

last week I was complaining about the pre-season losses and was told that they were a bunch of ECHLers. What kind of line-up was last night? Maybe the Flyers have 2 ECHL teams?

Peterson wouldn’t have been able to stop a beach ball last night, he is beyond terrible.
The only jump from the team was Samu Tuomaala’s goal.
Parker Gahagen should get the start in goal today against Belleville.

I won’t knock a trade that got Whiney Ivan the hell out of here. Peterson could punch me in the face and I’d still back it.
But they do need to get Sandstrom or Ersson down there soon.
