His assist from last game against Dinamo Minsk. First few seconds of the video are the best. He is so poised with the puck, great wrist shot.

Btw, eliteprospects has him listed at 5-11, but official KHL site says 183 cm which is exactly 6-0

I'm impressed by his start to the season. Looking forward to see how his development continues. He seems to have some strong puck moving abilities and a knack for creating offence. Anybody have any insights into how he handles the defensive side of the game? The high TOI/G would seem to suggest his coach trusts him quite a bit at both ends of the rink.

I saw just one game, but did not see any major weakness. Of course, KHL is pretty soft league, so he does not face a lot of battles in front of net or along the boards. Those I saw were OK, his agressiveness was fine he was not pushed by the opponents. He is very smart and calm. I only saw one ahift where made two bad plays. Otherwise, he was flawless.

Russian D is an enigma to me. Look at the best Russians in the NHL last year. That's not really an impressive list for a country with all that hockey talent.

Hope BK turns out and it's nice to see what he is doing for sure. But I'm not expecting much. Just based on odds of Russian talent on D.

he was impressive, showed some slick hands, elite mobility.

I have only seen highlights so far, but do you think he could develop a Quinn Hughes type of game in the offensive end?

Or is he more like a Pietrangelo who will create shooting and passing lanes from the blue line?

I've only seen 1 full game so far and parts of others but I plan on watching a lot more of him. Looks like a serious playmaker but haven't seen him shoot much.

May I ask if there is a platform like onhockey.tv to watch KHL games?

He was very solid today, made some nice moves as he shows he got some slick hands. I can't upload KHL vids to my youtube so they will be on my patreon acct now.

I love you as a poster and I like watching your vids on youtube when I can/have time. Thanks for what you do!

That said, 7.50$Ca/month is too much.

Some people may be able to contribute this amount to help him continue to do his craft. It only takes a few to make it worth his time and to allow everyone to keep getting useful content.

It is fine if you are not in a position to contribute financially to his work, but it would be nice if you didn't deter others from doing so with your comments.

7.50$/month is not much money and for people who are doing well financially, it is of zero consequence.

One thing that's crazy about this pick, and many others from this draft class, is that Habs scouting staff knew he'd be good but also knew he'd be available in the 4th round. They predicted in the pre draft video that they'd get Fowler in the 3rd, be able to take Xhekaj with their first 4th, then take Bogdan with their second 4th, and then take Miller in the 5th round.

The gamble paid off but they were also not sure he'd be there at the second fourth, they liked Xhekaj better as he was a "unicorn". Granted Konyushkov is a double overager and is now signed for another 3 or 4 years so we won't be seeing him til he's 24ish. Ironically, it is the same issue as Michkov, but that gamble is definitely worth it in the fourth round to get a top 4 dman.

Is KHL banned on youtube due to sanctions?

it's been geo blocked for me for years, but now with patreon I can also add NHL stuff since they block everything. I had a vid on the red and white game from the other day but the NHL copyrighted it.

With the way youtube is cracking down my channel likely doesn't have long there. They have dinged me twice in the past 6 months, and didn't even tell me what vid so I had to guess while being suspended for 30 days each time.

Btw, Torpedo is the best team in KHL right now. So, we have the best D of the best KHL team, still just 20y old.

They looked very well coached, I was impressed not with just how they played but how he used his 2 17 year old rookies. Gave them lots of TOI which is something you don't often see in the KHL.

That's understandable. I've had a bunch of vids taken down and I've been suspended twice so the writing is on the wall for my channel. Now I can put all kinds of vids on patreon, I'm thinking of a podcast that covers the Hab prospects of course but also focus on the up coming draft eligible prospects.

I don't know what this will turn into but I wanted to have a spot where I can put any vid without fear of it getting taken down.

It's not the 7.50$, it's that there's 1 video. Will change with time, of course. I can subscribe and get all of Digital Foundry's content for the same price on the same platform.

Anyways I was offering (hopefully constructive) criticism, people can make their own mind. I don't know how I'm detering anyone from doing anything.

Yes, it makes sense. YouTube is harsh with this stuff now.
