I put the red vs white game up and games from Volokhin plus the highlights from Kostenko and Gordin's games since youtube said my short vids are a problem for some reason and no one watches them anyway as they get like 200-300 views which is like .30 cents a vid or so in payment.

I don 't know what the plan for tomorrow will be as Konyushkov plays at 12 pm but I told some flyers fans that I work with that I will start doing vids of Michkov as I need the money and that game starts at 12:30. I really want to get some Engstrom vids up but he plays at 1 pm.

This escalated quickly!

Out of nowhere pick again from Russia, and a meteoric rise right of the bat like Romanov.

I’m not comparing the playing styles, just the coming out of nowhere :)
Bodgan is even more from "out of nowhere". Romanov was known in Russia, played internationally as a kid and was from an established hockey family. Bodgan was even unknown to Russians before Larionov spotted him and brought him to Torpedo.

Really high praise from Larionov in the article, too.
Wonder why he committed to a 3-year contract to his Russian team, shortly after the Habs selected him. Probably not an issue as far as the Habs are concerned.

Given a lot of KHL minutes, doubt a 4th round selection would make someone choose not to sign a pretty healthy contract extension at that age.

As you said, all good for the Habs who don't have to worry about where he fits in the development leagues for another defenseman for 3 more seasons.

LIkely they said he'd get big minutes if he signed. There obviously weren't many teams inquiring about him pre-draft but the Habs had a lot of praise for him which may have scared them into locking him up.

Exactly. He's not lost in the shuffle or given a limited role. He's the go-to guy and he's thriving. He's also not in a must-need position to the point we needed him here sooner. We have Savard, Barron, Mailloux Kovacevic & Reinbacher on RD now and the foreseeable future.

And the beauty is that if Konyushkov does come over to the Habs, he will be able to step in the NHL right away. He'll be a ready-made prospect.

He's giving me big Konstantin Korneev vibes honestly. Feels like he'll never be big enough on the NHL radar to come over unless he's guaranteed a spot but just big enough to get decent money in the KHL forever and be happy with that, I hope he proves me wrong.

Hope Larionov is gonna have very good words to Bobrov for another over ager in Vasili Atanasov this year.

Montreal charging for his vids now???

He reminds me a bit of Svoboda elite mobility, good playmaker for sure. Another impressive game from him today.

His coach
I'm a Bogdan fan. I've just heard Norlinder, Primeau, Harris, Farrell, etc... highly, highly praised by their coaches before coming into Laval/Montreal. So I take it with a grain of salt. It's in the interest of the current team to talk up how great the talent is that their program is outputing to the NHL. It's also good for the player-coach relationship for the coach to be supportive of the player.
