I'm a Bogdan fan. I've just heard Norlinder, Primeau, Harris, Farrell, etc... highly, highly praised by their coaches before coming into Laval/Montreal. So I take it with a grain of salt. It's in the interest of the current team to talk up how great the talent is that their program is outputing to the NHL. It's also good for the player-coach relationship for the coach to be supportive of the player.

I don't know who's more impressive on that team, Konyushkov, Larianov or Artamonov but wow am I impressed with that team. I've only seen the last 2 full games and a couple periods of other games but Larianov has them playing great, he's giving a ton of ice to Artamonov who if he keeps this up should be a top 10 pick as his speed is elite and he's racking up the points. Konyushkov looks smart and very smooth out there.

He'll have a couple years to work on getting stronger and adding some mass, we'll see how it goes. With prospects it's always about the amount of progress or lack of so while guys have big years, they might not progress after that and then you could have problems.

He plays him 24+ mins per game. It is kind of obvious he loves the kid.

True, but it's one thing to like what a player is giving you in the KHL. It's another to claim they could step into the NHL right now and be a key player.

The Young Canadian prospect defenseman has the highest Time average per game in the KHL. He even surpasses Alexander Nikishin
who is perceived as Carolina's #1 prospect by his fans. Note that the former Laval Rocket David Sklenicka has the most point for a defenseman in the KHL.

I've watched the last 2 games and he has been very impressive for sure. Needs to add some mass and strength but looks smart, moves the puck so well and has elite mobility.

Looking forward to Saturday's game vs Michkov!
How does he look compared to Romanov at that age?

Better imo , ive only watched 2 games and some clips though and didint watch much Romanov to be honnest but this guy can really move out there.

Idk how I feel about getting my hopes up for a guy that might just stay in the K, do we have any info on if he has NHL aspirations?

I didn't get to see Konyushkov last year but they are night and day as last year he had more points at 19/20 (he turned 20 mid season), 25 in 64 games then Romanov had in 2 years in the KHL, 11 pts in 86 games at age 18/20.

Romanov was mostly a 5th to 7th D in the KHL, he was physical and solid defensively, Konyushkov is an offensive D that moves the puck well. He's not big or strong but so far I haven't seen him have too many issues with bigger, stronger players.
