A few posters have presented hypothetical line combos moving forward that see Bedard moved into a slot with different line mates.
But I have absolutely no idea why anyone would want to move Bedard off the line with Cuylle and Desnoyers.
Those three were dynamite together — at even strength, Bedard netted 3, and Desnoyers assisted on all of them, Cuylle on 2 of the 3.
Basically, 2 members of the supposed 4th line and the supposed 13th forward combined for 9 points.
Why mess with something that was so effective?
I agree, I like him as a spark on that line. Realistically Bedard is an option for Perfetti's line, where something is needed, but having a scoring threat from the Desnoyers line could help things a lot.
