Oh I agree. On all points.
But man, he could have been a beast playing less and in the right role. Hell, Maroon still is and he’s not even in the ballpark of Getz.

But lifetime Duck is pretty cool!!

it was Getzlafs choice to stay here, i feel like anytime over the last 3 years he could have asked for a trade... and told us where he wanted to go, and we woulda made it happen.

I was lowkey hoping hed ask for a trade to a contender(avs/tampa/toronto/oilers/calgary etc)... as cool as it was for him to play his whole career as a duck... i think we all would have appreciated 1 more playoff run for him. And my guess is if he got to be a supporting player on a contenders bottom 6/pp specialist he woulda been a force for that team in the playoffs.

Watching Perry makes me wonder how great Getz would have been on a good team in a supporting role.
he would've been a great addition to any contender if he had been able to stay healthy. i have no doubt he'd be playing next season if the ducks were a playoff team

This has already been a great series.

Tampa/Toronto and NYR/Pittsburgh were great series as well so maybe it's not that surprising. just really happy with how the final four shaped up this year.

McDavid has tied Crosby’s single season playoff point record… in 16 games. Yet Crosby is seen as the superior players because cups…

He touched the puck powered it in well before he exerted any pressure on Smith. not really much to look at there

How many Dmen in this era are Point per game in career playoffs and point per game in their regular season career ? Makar is one

I believe Makar is a generational Dman. He's already better than prime Erik Karlsson.
No you must forget how good Karlsson was. If you put prime Karlsson on a team as talented as this one you'd see numbers you wouldn't believe.
