I like what people are saying. HIs rankings all look good. #75 on Bob's list. Could be a really good pick

Josh Filmon is a pretty decent pick. He's got some upside as a rangy, 6'2.5 LW with good speed, skill and hockey sense. I watched him a bunch while scouting Pickering, and I thought he had some pretty good potential, though we won't know for sure until he fills out and builds his core strength. With some extra burst and power in his shot and battle, he could turn into a pretty good pick.

Can Morrison sign as a free agent after the draft since he's a +2? (if he goes undrafted)

Yeah, he'd be a free agent if he doesn't get taken today. It was an amusing sight when I stayed for the entire 2011 Draft. After the last pick was made, a handful of scouts dashed into the stands to talk to undrafted guys.

I’m going on the record as not liking the filmon pick

Better options out there
I think it gets tough to criticize picks after the 4th round unless they're ridiculously bad, like Baumgartner or Hurtig. Filmon and Hauser at least have a shot at the NHL -- Hauser if he improves his skating, and Filmon if he improves his core strength and burst.

Not ideal picks in my mind, but again tough to complain to much as long as there is some logic to the picks.

Josh Filmon. Doesn't seem like a terrible pick. Haven't seem much of him but Central Scouting has him ranked 38th for NA skaters.
He’s ridiculously raw and cartoonishly scrawny, you just have to go with scouts on this because it’s about physical development.

I like Hauser way more than Filmon. Even if we go with just stats, it all screams like this year was just an anomaly. 2 pts in 17 last season and 3pts in his last 10 this season. Would love to see what his sh% was. But will see how it plays out..
