Meh, doesn’t mean much to me, there are a lot of ranking services so there are always going to be a few that say you made a good pick.

Literally ranked higher than this on every list on EP. There's a 148 and 147. The rest are 124 or lower. This is bitching to bitch.

Woah man, I’m fine with the pick, it’s a sixth rounder. I’m just saying that with mid to late round picks it seems like you always see a few cherry picked rankings. If he was ranked higher across the board, that’s good.

We need centers but this was more of a defense draft and next year is reportedly lining up to be a great center draft.

I believe in leaning into the strengths of the draft and taking what it gives you.

I was hoping for a dropping Russian forward but apparently no, we like their defenseman way more lol.

Dallas hits yet another home run with RW Matthew Seminoff -- ultimate compete checking winger with scoring pop. Man, they've drafted well in recent years.

f*** it. Draft Kevin Owens with the next pick.

Not ideal size, but unexpected work rate given his body type. Some character concerns. May or may not be on the list.

Barabosha would be a great pick in Round 7. So would Mastrodomenico for RD.

So many good players left -- Morrison, Jonsson, Nguyen, Petrovsky, Ali, Flemming, Ward, Verreault.

Between Richmond and DC? That stretch is an eternal mess.

Yep. When we go up to Delaware for LAX we avoid 95 entirely and take 301 and then go up the coast but this tournament is W-NW of Philly so there's not much better. Since VA and MD always fight over which direction an interstate bypass for Washington would go. I think it's easy, build them both. Simultaneously.

That's true. COL hasn't even picked yet.

Oh Christ, I was thinking Southbound. You’re South of the beltway? Do you have any cyanide capsules in the glove box?

I thought so, but I think the gods have taken them as well. My son's doing the driving, so there's that. I get to work and also be on HF. It's ridiculous. Once you pass Richmond it's just surreal.

Devils draft for me is like a B, B-

Not much I’m in LOVE with but nothing truly insane.
We went for need and high-floor. Plain and simple. We started with the highest-floor D in the draft with RD Nemec, then went for two more high floor RDs in Casey and Leddy and a high floor LD in Orlov.

These are all good picks, but if you were hoping the Devils would make a home run swing? Well, the only one they made was G Tyler Brennan. We solved our RD problem and improved depth all across the board except center, which remains a problem on the prospect level though clearly not with the big club.
