Judd Brackett is a sexy man.Minnesota hits yet another home run with a 2nd -- and perhaps even 1st -- round value in the 6th round with Servac Petrovsky. He's one of the youngest players in the draft, so the upside is -- in my opinion, anyway -- higher than most people think. Great skill, excellent wheels, ideal size.
Minnesota is clearly among the draft day winners. Yurov, Ohgren, Lorenz, Milne, Healey, Petrovsky -- just a ridiculous haul of high-end talent. Billy Guerin should be very proud.
In terms of value, Tyler Brennan was the best pick of the NJ draft. I've messaged a couple of my goalie people, and they assure me Brennan has #1 NHL goalie upside, and his ceiling is extremely high. In the 3rd round, that's one hell of a pick. The picks that look great on paper aren't necessarily the best in the long run, so I wouldn't draw any major conclusions about any team's draft just yet. I'm very happy with Nemec and happy we got a good goalie prospect, everything else is whatever at this point.
Boston now has a Dyck and a Bussi in goal

Doesn't mean much but his favorite goalie growing up was Mike Smith and recently has tried to model his game after Jacob Markstrom. Surprisingly the Hockeywriters draft profile compare him to Markstrom. In terms of value, Tyler Brennan was the best pick of the NJ draft. Awesome news. Wonder why Leinonen and Kokko went 2nd round ahead of him?
Connor Kurth. God, I haven't seen that name in a while. I remember watching him last year and thinking he really needed to improve his skating and puck skills. Put up really good numbers so I guess he must've made some strides.
