Id be surprised if Watson isn’t a dolphin by the beginning of the season

Watson if on the field gives them a chance at a championship right away. I’m not sure tua offers that

I'd be surprised if Watson gets traded soon, especially to the Dolphins. I think them being "front-runners" is a bunch of bullshit.

NFL sent their investigators out in March/April I think of anything significant came from it he would be on the exemptions list by now

Flores also had every chance to end the rumor instead of saying whatever discussion we have will stay internal. He did however also give tua a vote of confidence

Ray Rice was seen on video punching his SO. He rightfully was tossed from the league.

Allegations against Watson are not on video, so I think he will continue to play until he's convicted. Then his playing days are over.

Honestly, I appreciate the NFL heeding innocent until proven guilty. At least that's what I hope they're doing. Too many knee jerk reactions in corporate USA lately

Same league that suspended zeke 6 games without any charges back in 2017 and ruined josh Gordon over a little bit of weed

Watson is going to be able to play until HPD/FBI make a decision on their criminal investigation which could take awhile. Remember it’s 22 different accusations stemming from 22 separate incidents which means 22 different case reports, interviews, evidence etc

One can hope people learn and can change.

Yeah, I figure it’s because Cam refused to vax up, but that won’t stop me from being a troll and playing up a different angle about New England sports as the motivation, if you catch my drift.

Rumors swirling that his refusal to get the vax has played a part in it as well.

How could it not? If you’re Bill, do you really want to deal with the headache of your QB having daily tests and the constant worry that Sunday morning he won’t have either a starter or a key #2 guy because of another positive test? Unlike with Cousins and Wentz, Cam is more easily disposable (and less important). Plus if you’re stupid enough to not get the vax when you’ve already had the virus and your job kinda depends on it…

That last sentence is where it gets murky but yeah I don't blame any organization for considering vax when it comes to forming a roster.

Urban Meyer got in hot water for admitting vaccination status was a factor in roster decisions, the NFLPA is already investigating. It's just inevitable though, especially with how much the NFL's incentivizing vaccinations with a carrot and a stick.

Agreed. Meyer probably wasn't supposed to actually say that though.

Imagine an NFL coach being honest. I’m sure he will be pilloried for it. NFL coaches routinely decide things at the end of the roster based on who will be less expensive or less of a headache. I’m sure if Cam Newton was lighting it up and looking great he’d still be a Pat. Do you think Parcells and Bellicheck keep LT on the Giants long term if he was just a guy on special teams?

Never understood the fascination with cam.
I always thought he was over rated just because he was big and could run qb power

He was never an accurate passer. But on the ground he would add 500-700 rushing yard and a good amount of touchdowns. Also take a terrible punishment doing it which I gather must've affected his throwing. He had lots of seasons of sub 60% completion percentage. Belichick got something out of him last year but at 32, he's probably more like 35/36 and likely doesn't have much left

ESPN predicting Giants to finish with the 2nd overall pick in 2022. Time for a new QB?

I don't think the Giants will be good, but I will be shocked if the 2 worst teams in the league are not Houston and Detroit
