They replaced every box in the house because they were super old.
Now I've had every problem under the sun from apps not being supported by that model of box to *get this* not including enough main boxes causing a max of only 2 tvs able to be used concurrently, and now we've circled all the way back to apps not being supported again. I gave up on the service calls after the third one didn't fix it.
I would gladly trade a Provorov extension for never having to be here again as long as I live. Striiker can deal with it. Life is full of disappointment.
*Edit* They don't have any of the boxes I need. They have to order me one. I'm getting the Joker paint.

I try to avoid that place at all costs. I believe we got a message saying that we could upgrade our gateway for the internet but I don't even want to risk having that down for even five minutes trying to troubleshoot a new one.
I wouldn't wish what you're dealing with on my greatest enemy.

You can buy your own (better) modem instead of paying them $15/month for one. Even a nice one saves some money in less than a year.
The poor CSR who lost the lottery and got me when I had an internet issue tried to tell me my modem was no longer in service so they couldn't help me. I told him exactly what date they had to legally support that version of DOCSIS until. OH GOD IS THIS THEIR REVENGE?? I HAD TO SAVE $15/MONTH.

Last time Comcast was hounding me to upgrade (and double my router rental cost) I checked all that. To simplify, the router I had could do 50mph but the speed out of the wall was only 20mph. The existing cheapo router wasn't even a limit. They wanted me to pay many more moneys to get a 100mph router that would only do 20mph.
They eventually lied to me and told me it would make the speed out of the wall faster. That's when I did upgrade, by buying my own faster router and stopping rental. It still only did 20mph. We ended moving and switching to FiOS before it could pay for itself, but it was a principle thing.

The problem is that every time there is the slightest issue, whether it's cable or internet, they will blame your personal modem and completely lose their shit over it until you finally lose yours. I said things. Terrible things. Things I will never regret.

Just so everybody is on the same game the game against Chicago is now our super bowl. The draft position can't change with either a win or loss, but if they win then we can rag on @DancingPanther all summer when they end up with exactly a mid-70s amount of points.
